In addition to its nutritional value,potato also has high development and utilization value.With the development of potato deep processing industry,high quality potato varieties have been paid more and more attention.There is a large demand for starch in Chinese market.As one of the raw materials of starch processing,potato varieties with higher starch content are of great significance for starch processing industry."Dongnong 310"has the advantages of high starch,low reducing sugar and resistance to Browning.It can be used as a special variety for potato starch and whole powder processing.In order to study the best planting method suitable for this variety in Bashang area of China and achieve the goal of reducing fertilizer amount and increasing efficiency,high yield and high quality of potato,a two-year field experiment conducted to study the effects of different fertilization methods,planting density and cutting treatment on agronomic characters,yield and quality characters of"Dongnong 310".The main research results are as follows:(1)In the experiment of different planting density and cutting methods,the planting density was 2850 plants per 667 m~2,and the yield of seed potato was the highest under chopping treatment,which reached 5040 kg per 667 m~2.The yield of cut sowing was 320 kg per 667 m~2higher than that of whole potato sowing,an increase of 8.6%.(2)In the experiments of different planting densities and fertilization methods,the main stem of the plants treated with topdressing was stronger,the plant height was higher,the plant growth was stronger;When the planting density was between 2179 and 3368 plants per 667 m~2,the yield of the tested varieties increased with the increase of density.The yield of topdressing treatment was 452 kg per 667 m~2higher than that of no topdressing,and the yield increased by 20.3%.(3)In the two-year experiment,the average dry matter content of the tested varieties was above 25%,and there was no significant difference in the dry matter content of the tested varieties under different planting densities and cutting methods.The dry matter content of topdressing treatment was significantly higher than that without topdressing.
