| Laparoscopic and cervical intrauterine insemination,as commonly used artificial insemination techniques,play an important role in the improvement of livestock breeds.However,in China,the promotion and popularization of this technology has not yet been fully carried out.At present,there are still a large number of reproductive methods that mainly rely on natural fertilization,which seriously restricts the large-scale production of the breeding industry.Therefore,this experiment compared the conception rates of natural fertilization,laparoscopic and cervical intrauterine insemination,and first identified that laparoscopic insemination had the highest conception rate and twin lambing rate among the three,with86% and 79%,respectively.The conception rate increased with the increase of effective sperm count.Secondly,it was also verified through unilateral or bilateral uterine horn insemination that the conception rate of bilateral uterine horn insemination during laparoscopic insemination was significantly higher than that of unilateral uterine horn insemination(p<0.05),and laparoscopic insemination had little impact on the reproductive ability of ewes.In this study,it was also confirmed that the optimal insemination time for ewes in natural estrus is 24 hours after estrus,with a conception rate of 56%.The optimal insemination time for synchronous estrus is 60 hours after withdrawal of thrombus,with a conception rate of 53%.The optimal insemination time for induced estrus is 48 hours after withdrawal of thrombus,with a conception rate of 69%.Finally,using abdominal endoscopy,it was confirmed that the best ewe in the mature follicular stage had the highest conception rate,which was 95.6%.In summary,it shows that laparoscopic insemination is superior to cervical insemination and natural fertilization.Laparoscopic insemination combined with estrus synchronization and ewes in the mature follicle stage can significantly improve fertility.This result can provide a theoretical basis for further promotion and application of laparoscopic insemination technology,accelerate the improvement and expansion of mutton sheep breeds,increase the conception rate of mutton sheep,and ultimately provide more favorable technical support for the development of animal husbandry. |
