Research On The Popularization System Of Sericulture Technology In Jiangsu Province

According to the Party’s report to the 20 th CPC National Congress,science and technology must be the primary producing force,talents the key resource,and creativity the primary motivator.Popularization of science and technology is a crucial link in transforming scientific and technical breakthroughs into genuine productive forces,as well as an essential intermediate step in emphasizing the benefits of human resources and pushing innovation.Sericulture is a historic advantage sector in China,and Jiangsu has traditionally been an important sericulture province in China,with significant advantages in cocoon export and cocoon quality when compared to other provinces.Since 2020,sericulture production has constantly climbed,cocoon silk prices have risen drastically,domestic demand for silk goods has been steadily unleashed,and demand for diversified development and extensive usage has also increased year by year.However,there are still bottlenecks in the development of sericulture in Jiangsu: urbanization,industrialization,and modernization in Jiangsu have developed rapidly,particularly since the country implemented the "moving mulberry from east to west" project;the focus of China’s sericulture industry has shifted from the east to the central and western regions;silkworm farmers are generally older,their comprehensive quality is not high,and their ability to accept new v The basic construction and mechanization of sericulture are still low,and the production efficiency of sericulture and the economic benefits of sericulture farmers are low;silkworm and mulberry resources cannot be fully utilized,and the industrial chain is insufficiently extended,making sustainable development difficult.As a result,it is critical to actively research and enhance Jiangsu’s sericulture technology extension system,accelerate Jiangsu’s sericulture industry’s transformation and upgrading,and improve the sericulture technology,production,and management levels.This thesis expounds the relevant theories of the sericulture technology promotion system.Based on the research methods such as data search and field investigation,the advantages and problems of the current sericulture technology promotion system in Jiangsu are systematically analyzed,and the development of the sericulture technology promotion system in Jiangsu is summarized.At the same time,the case study of sericulture technology promotion system in other parts of China is carried out,and its practical experience is used for reference to provide suggestions for improving the sericulture technology promotion system in Jiangsu Province.Governments at all levels should boost their support for the sericulture industry and improve the sericulture technology extension system’s functioning mechanism.Build a strong sericulture talent team and cultivate highquality extension talent.Create a diverse extension approach to make scientific and technological breakthroughs more accessible to silkworm farmers and increase technology conversion efficiency.Improve Jiangsu’s sericulture information building and establish a sericulture information management system to provide an effective platform for the popularization of sericulture technology in Jiangsu.
