The protection of cultivated land in the new era puts more emphasis on the concept of resource saving,recycling and high efficiency and green development.The multi-function management of cultivated land is the strategic choice and important base point to practice the three concepts and promote the innovative development of cultivated land protection,and is an important source to strengthen the national cultivated land management ability in the new era.Most of the existing researches on cultivated land multifunctional focus on evaluation and spatio-temporal evolution analysis,and the researches on trade-off and synergistic relationship between functions are limited,and there are few methods.Quantitative measurement of the trade-off and synergistic relationship between cultivated land multifunctional is of great significance for formulating cultivated land protection policy in the new era,promoting the coordinated development of cultivated land multifunctional and improving the level of cultivated land multifunctional management in the new era.In this study,multi-source data such as land survey,DEM,statistical yearbook,cultivated land quality,etc.,literature research method,quantitative research method,empirical research method,spatial analysis method and other research methods were used in combination with the physical and geographical conditions and social and economic development of Shaanxi Province,to build a multifunctional evaluation system of cultivated land in Shaanxi Province.The county-level administrative region was taken as the evaluation unit.To evaluate the multifunctional level of cultivated land in Shaanxi Province from 2005 to 2020,the center of gravity migration model and spatial auto-correlation analysis were used to analyze the spatio-temporal variation characteristics.Based on the results of multifunctional evaluation of cultivated land,the maximum square and maximum cube models were used to quantitatively measure the trade-off and cooperative relationship between the two functions and three functions of cultivated land respectively.The influencing factors were selected from natural factors and human factors,and the influencing factors of multifunctional trade-off and synergistic relationship of cultivated land were explored by using geographic detector and grey relational model,so as to reveal the influencing mechanism of each functional trade-off and synergistic relationship of cultivated land.On the basis of the above research results,the countermeasures of multifunctional utilization and management of cultivated land in Shaanxi Province in the future are put forward.The results showed that the spatial differentiation of cultivated land multi-function was obvious in Shaanxi Province,the basic production function of cultivated land was higher in Guanzhong region,the social security function level of cultivated land in the north was higher than that of the south,but the landscape ecological function level of cultivated land in the south was higher than that of the north,and the spatial clustering was not significant.The relationship between production and social functions of cultivated land changed from being dominated by synergy to being dominated by trade-offs.The trade-offs between production and ecological functions first increased and then weakened,and the trade-offs between social and ecological functions first increased and then weakened.The trade-offs and synergies among the three functions were mostly insignificant,and the spatial distribution of trade-offs and synergies was different in different stages.The influence of each factor on the balance and synergy between different functions in different periods is different.The explanatory credibility of the two-factor interaction is more persuasive than that of the single factor.In the future,the multi-functional management of cultivated land in Shaanxi Province should pay attention to the multi-functional utilization of cultivated land,construct the multi-functional integration mode of different types of cultivated land,transform the agricultural development mode,and construct the multi-subject utilization and protection mechanism.
