| Cultivated land is the foundation of human existence and development.It has many irreplaceable functions and is the fundamental guarantee of sustainable development of social economy.In recent years,the state has put forward major strategies such as rural revitalization,green agricultural development and building an agricultural power,with the protection and efficient management of cultivated land being the top priority.The per capita cultivated land resources are scarce,the quality difference is large,the spatial distribution is heterogeneous,coupled with the natural environment change and the influence of human social and economic activities,the cultivated land functions have the tradeoff relationship of reverse change and the synergistic relationship of the same direction change.A large number of studies have shown that the spatial heterogeneity of tradeoffs and synergies between cultivated land functions is obvious,but the spatio-temporal and multi-scale evolution and driving mechanism of the tradeoffs and synergies between cultivated land functions are rarely reported.It is of great significance to explore the spatio-temporal and multi-scale evolution and driving mechanism of the tradeoff and synergistic relationship of cultivated land multifunction,effectively weigh the relationship between cultivated land functions,and promote the synergistic development of cultivated land multifunction for efficient management and rational allocation of cultivated land resources,rural revitalization and sustainable agricultural and rural development.Taking Wuhan metropolitan area as an example,this paper systematically reviews relevant literature,defines cultivated land multifunctional as material production function,ecological service function and landscape culture function,and measures and analyzes the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of cultivated land multifunctional.The correlation analysis method,difference comparison method and principal component analysis method were used to study the tradeoff and cooperative relationship between the two functions and three functions of cultivated land from 2005 to 2020,and the spatio-temporal geographical weighted regression model(GTWR)was used to explore the driving mechanism of the tradeoff and cooperative relationship between cultivated land function.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)During the 15 years from 2005 to 2020,the spatial distribution pattern of the material production function and ecological service function of cultivated land in Wuhan metropolitan area was stable,and the total value of the material production function increased by 228.64% and 38.10%,respectively.The total value of the material production function continued to grow,and the growth rate reached the maximum from2005 to 2010.The total value of ecological service function continued to increase but changed slightly among different regions.The total value of landscape cultural functions increased geometrically,and the spatial distribution pattern of high-value areas evolved from "north and south zones" to "two zones and one circle".(2)Overall tradeoff and synergistic relationship of Wuhan urban circle research shows that during the 15 years from 2005 to 2020,there is a synergistic relationship between the material production function of cultivated land and the landscape cultural function,and a tradeoff relationship between the ecological service function of cultivated land and the material production function.The tradeoff relationship between cultivated land ecological service function and landscape cultural function is transformed into synergistic relationship.(3)The research on local tradeoff synergy in Wuhan metropolitan area shows that from 2005 to 2010,the tradeoff relationship dominated by the single development of material production function was mainly presented in the study area.With the continuous development of various functions of cultivated land,the multi-functional synergy relationship of cultivated land increased continuously in the 15 years.From 2015 to 2020,In the western part of the study area,the tradeoff relationship is dominated by the backward development of ecological service function.(4)The tradeoff and synergistic of cultivated land multifunctional is the result of complex interaction between physical geographical environment and socio-economic factors.Among them,the disposable income of rural residents is the key factor affecting the multifunctional cooperative relationship of cultivated land in Wuhan urban area,urbanization is the main obstacle restricting the coordinated development of cultivated land function in Wuhan urban area,slope is the main factor driving the tradeoff relationship between cultivated land function in Wuhan urban area.According to the research results,some suggestions are put forward:(1)strengthen the construction of agricultural infrastructure as a whole,scientifically demarcate permanent basic farmland,and steadily improve the material production function of cultivated land.We will establish an ecological protection mechanism,implement ecological compensation policies,and gradually improve the ecological service function of cultivated land.Integrating natural landscape,tourism resources and rural economic subjects,developing cultivated land landscape cultural functions according to local conditions.(2)Farmland management and ecological protection should be combined in the western plain,with emphasis on improving the ecological service function of cultivated land.The eastern mountainous area should improve the land scientifically,plan farmland production,and focus on improving the material production function of cultivated land.Urban development zones need to establish corresponding industrial clusters of cultivated land and formulate territorial spatial planning that is compatible with the endowment of cultivated land resources and the direction of population flow,so as to minimize the loss of cultivated land caused by urbanization. |
