| To promote the rural revitalization strategy,the key to building an agricultural power with the Chinese style modernization is high-quality agricultural talents.Serving "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" is the main educational orientation and follow of agricultural vocational colleges,which bear the heavy responsibility of training high-level technical talents for "agriculture,rural areas and farmers".This study takes the students of four agricultural higher vocational colleges in Yunnan Province as the research object.By means of qualitative research and empirical research,it systematically studies the current situation and implementation of the life skills of the agricultural higher vocational colleges students in Yunnan Province.It is found that there are many problems in the talent training of agricultural higher vocational colleges in the province,among which the most typical problem is that students do not know farmers and do not love farmers.The main reason is that students in agricultural higher vocational colleges generally have cognitive biases towards themselves and the environment they are in,which makes them not form strong enough professional confidence in the agricultural major they have learned,nor establish the professional consciousness to actively serve "agriculture,rural areas and farmers".The origin of the problem lies in the low psycho-social ability and unbalanced development of students in agricultural vocational colleges.The internationally recognized means to improve individual psycho-social ability is to develop and educate students on life skills.With these questions in mind,the author has carried out qualitative research and quantitative evaluation on the psychological and social ability and life skill level of the students in four agricultural vocational colleges in the province in combination with the literature research.The results of qualitative research and quantitative evaluation tend to be consistent,showing that the overall life skill level of the students in agricultural vocational colleges in the province is at a moderate level.Moreover,the development of the 10 sub-ability level is not balanced.In the case that agricultural higher vocational colleges in the province always pay attention to vocational skill training and ignore comprehensive quality training,such a situation will be more serious.It is even more difficult to reverse the realistic dilemma that students do not know about agriculture and do not love agriculture.Through the empirical study of the pilot work of the development of youth life skills,it is found that the construction of a reasonable life skills education system can effectively improve the level of students’ psycho-social ability,so as to meet the needs of students’ comprehensive and sustainable development.At the same time,the higher level of psychosocial ability can help the students of agricultural higher vocational colleges to build their professional confidence in learning agriculture,knowing agriculture and loving agriculture.Establish the professional consciousness of serving "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" and taking part in rural revitalization.For how to do a good job in the development and education of life skills in agricultural vocational colleges,this paper puts forward three suggestions: first,strengthen the basic research of life skills theory and life skills education;Second,we should use life skills to educate students to correct their professional cognition,and change the reality dilemma that students do not love agriculture and do not know agriculture.The third is to strengthen the development and promotion of life skill courses in agricultural higher vocational colleges guided by the integration of life skill education and agricultural specialty education. |
