| Ginseng fruit(Solanum muricatum Aiton)is a perennial herb of the Solanaceae family.Ginseng fruit is native to Peru and Ecuador in South America,and its flesh is thick and juicy,highly nutritious,low in calories and high in trace elements,a natural green food,which was introduced into China in the 1980 s and into Kunming,Yunnan Province in the mid-1990 s.In recent years,some problems have arisen in the cultivation process such as single varieties,serious degradation of varieties,poor fruit quality and high pesticide usage.To address these problems this study used Yunnan wild Solanaceae as rootstock,ginseng fruit as scion and grafted ginseng fruit seedlings as research objects.Through investigation and analysis of their biological characteristics,growth,VC,protein content,total soluble sugar content,fresh weight,fruit shape and disease resistance,the following results were obtained to provide theoretical guidance for the promotion of grafted ginseng fruit cultivation in the field and to promote the development of the ginseng fruit industry in Yunnan Province.The main findings of the study are as follows:One.The six wild eggplant materials were investigated and counted for 33 agronomic traits.six materials were rich in phenotypic traits,with commercial fruit of brilliant colour and shape,one of which was flowering but not fruiting.all six materials were resistant to early blight;all materials were highly resistant to late blight,except YQ3.The six wild eggplant materials were divided into two major groups by cluster analysis.Two.The results of the biological investigation of the grafted seedlings showed that the six wild Solanaceae materials were used as rootstock and the ginseng fruit was used as scion for the grafting treatment,and the survival rate of the grafting was over 70%.Three.The results of the field growth survey and quality analysis of ginseng fruit grafted seedlings showed that: RJ1 grafted seedlings and control ginseng fruit seedlings were dwarfed in height,while the other treatments significantly increased plant height and stem thickness;the grafting treatments increased the number of flower spikes and flowers;the fruits of RJ4 grafted seedlings were round balls,while there was no significant change in the other treatments;the protein content of the fruits of RJ1 and RJ4 treatments significantly decreased,while the total soluble sugar content and VC content The leaf area of RJ1 treatment was significantly smaller compared to the control,while the leaf area of all other treatments increased;all grafted seedlings showed a decrease in chlorophyll content;the fresh weight of RJ3 treatment increased significantly and that of RJ1 treatment decreased significantly.Four.Indoor and outdoor ginseng fruit grafted seedlings were identified for disease resistance,and the results showed that the grafted seedlings and control ginseng fruit seedlings showed a significant reduction in the area of incidence of early blight and late blight,showing a significant suppressive effect;at the same time,a survey of early blight and late blight in the field showed that the grafted seedlings delayed the time of incidence and reduced the disease index. |
