In recent years,the Pujiang County citrus industry has been rising with great momentum.In 2021,the citrus planting area of Pujiang County exceeded 119.2 square kilometers and the output exceeded 323,000 tons.However,the warm and humid climate of Pujiang County has resulted in the frequent and rapid spread of citrus pests and diseases.To prevent and control citrus pests and diseases,farmers have adopted the strategy of increasing the number and concentration of chemical pesticide applications.The long-term excessive and inefficient application of chemical pesticides has led to a series of problems such as decreasing soil fertility,reducing biodiversity,and destroying microbial communities,triggering the rising cost of agricultural production factors,agricultural surface pollution and the risk of agricultural product quality and safety.Green control technology is an environment-friendly pest control technology,which can not only promote the high-quality development of citrus industry and improve farmers’ economic benefits but also create environmental benefits.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the research on the current situation,problems,and countermeasures of the adoption of green pest control technology for citrus pests and diseases in Pujiang County.Firstly,this paper describes the research background of green control technology and the significance of the research.Secondly,this paper defines research-related concepts and introduces the cognitive behavioral theory,innovation diffusion theory,and farmer behavior theory to explain the adoption of green control technologies and lay the theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Next,the current situation of green control technologies for citrus pests and diseases in Pujiang County is analyzed by combining macroscopic data related to the development of the citrus industry in Pujiang County and microscopic survey data on the adoption of green control technologies.In addition,the main problems facing the adoption of green control technologies for citrus pests and diseases in Pujiang County were extracted based on the adoption status and case studies.Through the survey,it was found that the adoption of green control technology for citrus pests and diseases is still lacking in farmers’ awareness of green control technology,green control technology does not match with market demand,small-scale business approach hinders technology adoption,green control technology support mechanism is not perfect,green control technology promotion system is not sound,etc.,which makes green control technology for citrus pests and diseases not yet widely adopted.Finally,given the problems faced by the adoption of green control technology for citrus pests in Pujiang County at this stage,this paper proposes countermeasures from the following five aspects: first,in-depth publicity and guidance to enhance the awareness of green prevention and control;second,connecting market demand to enhance the effect of green prevention and control;third,promoting large-scale operation to promote the application of green prevention and control;fourth,perfecting the support mechanism to provide green prevention and control guarantee;fifth,sound promotion system to Integrate green prevention and control resources.
