A Clinical Research In The Treatment Of Diabetic Osteoporosis With Tangsongkangfu Decoction

Objective Through clinical research of empirical formula Tangsongkangfu decoction plus western medicine in the treatment of diabetic osteoporosis,to evaluate the clinical curative effect and to lay the theoretical foundation for the clinical application of Chinese medicine compound,enrich therapeutic regimen of diabetic osteoporosis.Methods 64 patients were randomly divided into treatment group(T group)and control group(C group)that met the inclusion criteria.The treatment group used Caltrate D tablets,Rocaltrol capsule.The treatment group used Tangsongkangfu decoction on the basis of the control group,2 times a day,each time taking 100-150ml.The duration of treatment was 12 weeks.Before and after the treatment was finished,the patients of two groups were determined the clinical efficacy and observe the drug adverse reactions.Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 90.63%,control group total effective rate was 65.63%,statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Before treatment,the total TCM syndrome score of both T group and C group had no significant difference(P>0.05),but after treatment,the total TCM syndrome scores improvement in the T group was better than that in the C group,there is a significant difference in Statistics(P<0.01).The serum levels of Ca、P and vitamin D had improved significant before and after treatment(P<0.05)in both T and C group.But there were no significant difference between two Groups.The concentration of serum PINP and OC had increased,while beta-CTX had decreased,after treatment in both T and C group.The changes were more obvious in T group than that in C group(P<0.05).For the comparison of bone mineral density detection in distal forearm,the T group had a higher BMD than that in C group after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusions Tangsongkangfu Decoction has a good curative effect in the treatment of diabetic osteoporosis,can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of the patients.And it also has a better influence of bone metabolic markers such as PINP,OC and beta-CTX.It can improve BMD lever,too.Meanwhile,the compound decoction is effective and safe in the treatment of diabetic osteoporosis in this research.
