Objective: To improve the clinicians’ cognition of NUP98-HOXA9 positive hematological diseases. Methods: A case report of acute myelogenous leukemia(AML)patient with NUP98-HOXA9 fusion gene positive admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University was analyzed for its clinical features, laboratory examination, treatment and curative effect, and the relevant literature was reviewed and discussed. Results: 1.This patient is a female in China, aged 19 years old.She was diagnosed as AML-M2 type with NUP98-HOXA9 fusion gene positive,bearing46,XX,t(7;11)(p15;p15)[3].2.After chemotherapy, complete remission(CR)was achieved, and bone marrow mixed peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT)was performed. The patients relapsed half a year after operation. The effect of venetoclax combined with demethylation was not good.It relieved again after the second peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Conclusion: NUP98-HOXA9 positive hematologic diseases are rare, mostly in Asia, young and female patients, mainly involving myeloid tumors, mainly AML-M2 type.It is easy to relapse after chemotherapy, with short survival period and poor prognosis.Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can improve the prognosis of such patients.
