Clinical Study Of Buxinzhuyu Granule In Treating Chronic Heart Failure With Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis

Objective: To observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Buxinzhuyu granule in treating chronic heart failure with qi deficiency and blood stasis.Methods: A total of 80 patients with chronic heart failure of qi deficiency and blood stasis type with Cardiac function gradeⅡ～Ⅲ and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)< 50% were selected from November 2020 to December 2021,who were hospitalized and in the Department of Cardiology,The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,They were randomly divided into treatment group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases).Both groups were treated with conventional western medicine according to the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Heart Failure 2018 The treatment group was given Buxinzhuyu granule on the basis of western medicine treatment.After 4 weeks of treatment,the following indicators were observed in both groups: NYHA cardiac function grading,Chinese medicine syndrome score,Minnesota heart failure quality of life score,Lee’s heart failure score,Amino-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-pro BNP),soluble growth stimulation expression gene 2protein(s ST2),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),and 6-minute walking test(6MWT),and monitoring blood routine,liver and kidney function and other safety indicators were monitored.SPSS Statistic 25.0was used to analyze the clinical data and evaluate the efficacy and safety of Buxinzhuyu granules in the treatment of chronic heart failure with qi deficiency and blood stasis.Results :(1)Comparison of NHYA cardiac function grades between the two groups showed that the cardiac function grades of the treatment group and the control group were improved(P < 0.05),and the total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.31%,which was better than that of the control group(75.00%)(P < 0.05).(2)The TCM symptom scores of the two groups were compared,the TCM symptom scores of the treatment group and the control group were lower than before treatment(P < 0.05),and the effective rate of the treatment group was 94.87%,which was better than77.50% of the control group(P < 0.05).(3)The score of Minnesota quality of life in 2 groups was decreased in both control group and treatment group(P < 0.05),and the score of Minnesota quality of life in treatment group was better than that in control group(P < 0.05).(4)Comparison of Lee’s scores between the two groups showed that Lee’s scores in both the control group and the treatment group decreased(P < 0.05),and there was no statistical significance between the treatment group and the control group after treatment(P > 0.05).(5)After treatment,the plasma Levels of NT-prob NP and s ST2 in the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the decrease in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05);(6)Compared with before treatment,LVEF in treatment group and control group was increased(P < 0.05),and it was significantly increased in treatment group(P < 0.05).(7)Comparison of 6-minute walking test between 2 groups: 6-minute walking distance was prolonged in both control group and treatment group(P < 0.05);The improvement of 6-minute walking in treatment group was better than that in control group(P < 0.05).(8)There were no obvious abnormalities in the safety test indexes of patients in both groups before and after treatment,and no physical discomfort occurred after taking Buxinzhuyu granules.Conclusion:Buxinzhuyu granule is an effective prescription for treating chronic heart failure with qi deficiency and blood stasis.Compared with conventional western medicine treatment plan,Western medicine combined with Buxinzhuyu granule treats chronic heart failure with qi deficiency and blood stasis.It can more effectively reduce patients’ NYHA cardiac function grading,NT-pro BNP and s ST2 levels,improve patients’ symptoms and cardiac systolic function,improve patients’ quality of life,and prolong the walking distance of the 6-minute walking test.And Buxinzhuyu granules have good safety,can be popularized in clinical application.
