| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of auricular acupuncture combined with milled fire needle in the treatment of acne vulgaris of spleen stomach damp heat type,and compare with topical medicine 0.1% Adapalene Gel+5%benzoyl peroxide,explore the practical effect of auricular acupuncture combined with milled fire on treating acne vulgaris of spleen stomach damp heat type,and provide a more simple and convenient treatment for acne vulgaris of spleen stomach damp heat type.Effective solutions.Methods: 72 patients with acne vulgaris of spleen stomach damp heat type were randomly divided into the experimental group(n=36)and the control group(n=36).The experimental group was given auricular acupuncture combined with Needle fire therapy,while the control group was given 0.1% Adapalene Gel +5%benzoyl peroxide.The two groups were treated for 2 consecutive courses(4weeks for 1 courses).The changes of GAGS scores in two groups before and after treatment were observed.Acne-Qol-19 scale was used to evaluate and compare the efficacy.Results:1.GAGS score:(1)After one course of treatment,the GAGS score of the two groups was lower than that before treatment,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The GAGS score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).(2)After two courses of treatment,the GAGS scores of the two groups were lower than that after one course of treatment(P<0.01).The GAGS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).2.Score of Acne-Qol-19 scale:After two courses of treatment,the total scores of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01).The total score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).3.Acne-Qol-19 scale item score:After two courses of treatment,the four individual scores of the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05,P<0.01).The score of acne symptoms in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).4.Comparison of clinical efficacy:the total effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were 100% and91.43% respectively.There was significant difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:ear acupuncture combined with millifire acupuncture has a good clinical effect in the treatment of acne vulgaris of spleen stomach damp heat type.It plays a good role in restoring patients’ appearance and improving patients’ quality of life.It is simple,safe and has little side effects.It is worthy of clinical promotion. |
