Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Chaihu Shugan Powder In The Treatment Of Migraine Caused By Epilepsy Of Liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency

Objective:To observe the improvement of Jiawei Chaihu Shugan Powder on epilepsy and migraine in patients with epilepsy of liver depression and spleen deficiency,and to enrich the related clinical research and treatment of epilepsy.Methods:62 patients diagnosed as epilepsy with migraine and TCM syndrome differentiation in accordance with liver depression and spleen deficiency in Weifang Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to December 2021 were selected for clinical observation.62 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The control group was treated with flunarizine hydrochloride orally on the basis of the original AEDs,and the treatment group was treated with self-made granule modified Chaihu Shugan Powder for 8 weeks as a course of treatment.The frequency of epileptic seizures,EEG,migraine scale and TCM syndrome score scale were recorded before and after treatment.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used for data processing,measurement data were tested for normality,paired t-test was used for comparison before and after treatment,t-test of two independent samples was used to compare the mean of the two samples,and rank sum test was used for non-parametric test to disaccord with normal distribution.Chi-square test was used for counting data(%)and rank sum test was used for grade data.There was significant difference when the level was 0.05(P<0.05),and there was significant difference(P<0.01).Results:Finally,the case data were collected,including 31 cases in the control group and 31 cases in the treatment group,a total of62 patients completed the experiment.The results showed that after treatment,the seizure frequency,EEG,migraine comprehensive score and TCM syndrome score in the treatment group and the control group were improved as compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05).The effective rate of epileptic seizure frequency and EEG improvement in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P < 0.05),and the effect of relieving migraine degree and TCM syndrome score in the treatment group was also better than that in the control group(P<0.05).There were no serious adverse reactions in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion:Jiawei Chaihu Shugan Powder can improve the seizure frequency,EEG and migraine degree of migraine patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency,without obvious side effects,which is worthy of further clinical research and application.
