Clinical Observation Of Eucommia Ulmoides Decoction In The Treatment Of Residual Back Pain After Vertebroplasty

Objective Through the clinical observation of the clinical efficacy and safety of Duzhong Decoction on the residual pain in the lower back after vertebroplasty,the scores before and after treatment were analyzed and compared,in order to provide clinical treatment for the residual pain in the lower back after vertebroplasty.And provide a safer and more effective treatment.MethodsSelected from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Zhangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to June 2021,who were eligible to be included in new thoracic 10-lumbar3 single-segment vertebral compression fractures on the first day after vertebroplasty 60 patients with low back residual pain were randomly divided into groups by random number table method.There were 30 cases in the experimental group and the control group.Control group: treated with calcium carbonate D3 tablets + salmon calcitonin + celecoxib; experimental group: treated with Duzhong decoction on the basis of control group.Both groups were treated for 14 days,and the visual analog scale(VAS score),ODI score,and kidney deficiency and blood stasis symptom scores were recorded for 7 days,after 14 days of treatment,and before treatment,respectively.analysis and draw conclusions.Results1.There was no significant difference in age,gender,VAS score before treatment,ODI score of low back pain before treatment,and TCM kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome score before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.VAS score: There was no significant difference in the VAS score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).3.ODI score: There was no significant difference in ODI score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the difference was statistically significant on the 7th and 14 th days of treatment between the two groups(P<0.05).4.TCM kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome scores: There was no statistical difference in the TCM kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The difference was statistically significant between the two groups on the 7th and 14 th days of treatment.(P<0.05).5.Efficacy analysis: In the control group,0 cases were cured,4 cases were markedly effective,24 cases were effective,and 2 cases were ineffective;in the treatment group,0 cases were cured,10 cases were markedly effective,20 cases were effective,and 0 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate of the control group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the experimental group was 100%.Comparing the total effective rate between the experimental group and the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The ConclusionDu Zhong Decoction can effectively relieve the residual pain in the lower back of patients after vertebroplasty.It is helpful for patients to carry out functional exercise in the early stage and promote the recovery of patients.It is effective,safe and non-invasive.
