Clinical Observation Of Tonifying Kidney And Replenishing Qi Method Combined With Acupoint Application In The Treatment Of Decreased Ovarian Reserve Function With Kidney Deficiency

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the mechanism of the effect of the Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi method combined with acupoint application on the decrease of ovarian reserve function in the kidney deficiency type by comparing the clinical efficacy of the treatment group(Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi formula combined with acupoint application)with that of the control group(Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi formula).It is expected to provide more ideas and methods for the treatment of this disease in the future.Methods: In this study,60 patients with DOR who met the diagnostic criteria were clinically observed in a randomized grouping,with 30 cases in both the treatment and control groups.According to the treatment protocol,both groups were treated for 3 menstrual cycles.The treatment group was treated with self-prepared formula for Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi combined with Acupoint Application under the guidance of Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi method,while the control group was treated with oral Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula,one dose of which was taken daily in the morning and evening after meals.By analyzing and observing the menstrual cycle,menstrual volume,total TCM symptom scores,single TCM symptom score,sex hormone levels,AMH,AFC and total clinical efficiency before and after treatment in both groups,in order to comprehensively analyze the clinical efficacy and related effects of the Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula and Acupoint Application selected under the guidance of the Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi method.Results:1.After data analysis,there were no significant differences in the basic data(disease duration,age),efficacy indexes(basal sex hormone level,AMH,sinus follicle count)and TCM symptoms(total and single)points between the thirty patients in the treatment and control group,which were comparable.2.By analyzing the clinical data of 60 patients after three menstrual cycles of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group reached 86.67%,three patients were cured after treatment,reaching10.00%,sixteen patients had significant effect,accounting for 53.33%,seven patients had effect,accounting for 23.33%,and four patients had no effect,reaching 13.33%;the overall effective rate of the control group reached 70.00%,two patients were cured,accounting for 6.67%,six patients had significant effect,accounting for 20.00%,thirteen patients had effect,accounting for 43.33%,and nine patients had no effect,accounting for 30.00%.P < 0.05 by rank-rank sum test,indicating that the Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula combined with Acupoint Application was better than the control group treated with a single herb in terms of overall efficacy.3.Total TCM symptom scores after treatment,with a(p < 0.05)comparison between the two groups and within the two groups,showed that both the treatment and control groups had better efficacy in improving the total TCM symptom scores of patients with kidney deficiency DOR.but the treatment group was superior.4.After treatment,all groups showed some improvement in the TCM single symptom scores.especially in the areas of lumbar and knee weakness,dizziness and tinnitus,hot flashes and night sweats,fatigue,and loss of libido.The treatment group was more effective,with much lower symptom scores than the control group(P < 0.05).5.By analysis,after 3 menstrual cycles of treatment,serum FSH decreased more significantly in the treatment group than in the control group,comparing with groups(p < 0.05)and within groups(p < 0.01),showed that all groups had a role in improving serum FSH,but Tonifying the Kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula combined with acupressure was more effective.Serum E2 was improved after treatment for both groups(p < 0.05),but the comparison between groups(p > 0.05)showed that there was no Changes in the improvement in E2 between Tonifying kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula combined with Acupoint Application and Chinese herbal medicine treatment alone.Both intra-and inter-group comparisons of serum LH after treatment(P > 0.05)showed no statistically distinction.Comparison between in each group after AMH treatment and pre-treatment(P < 0.05)and between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05)indicated that the treatment and control groups were comparable in terms of efficacy in improving AMH levels.In conclusion,the combination of Tonifying the Kidney and Replenishing Qi formula and acupressure was more effective in regulating serum FSH level than herbal treatment alone;however,there was no significant difference in the efficacy of regulating serum E2 and AMH;while in improving LH level,the effect of both treatment regimens was not significant.6.After treatment,the sinus follicle counts in both groups were compared within and between groups(P < 0.05),showed that both treatment regimens were valid in growth sinus follicle counts in the treatment and control groups,but the combined effect of acupressure was superior.Conclusion:1.The overall efficacy of the combination of Tonifying the Kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula and Acupoint Application was better than that of the control group.2.The combination of Tonifying the Kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula and Acupoint Application was better than that of the control group in reducing FSH values and increasing sinus follicle counts.3.The combination of Tonifying the Kidney and Replenishing Qi Formula and Acupuncture point application was more effective than the control group in improving weakness of the waist and knees,dizziness and tinnitus,hot flashes and night sweats,fatigue and loss of libido.
