Rural left-behind children are the companions of rural laborers who leave their hometowns to work or do business.With the vigorous promotion of rural revitalization,governments at all levels and academic circles have paid increasing attention to the physical and mental health of left-behind children.Left-behind children have a low level of mental health compared to non-left-behind children due to the lack of parental affection,while at this stage,rural areas are still insufficient in providing mental health services and need to be improved and enhanced.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out research on mental health clothing for left-behind children.Taking Yanqiao Town,Wuwei City as a specific case,the article uses the questionnaire survey method to conduct a study on the mental health status of left-behind children.At present,the overall mental health level of left-behind children in Yanqiao Town is in a relatively normal state,but the average is in a mild stress state in terms of learning pressure,adaptability,psychological imbalance and other issues.Through field surveys,questionnaire statistical analysis,and interview methods,the mental health services for left-behind children in rural Yanqiao Town were studied.The survey results show that Yanqiao Town has taken a series of measures on the mental health services for left-behind children:Social services mainly include the establishment of archives for left-behind children,family visits,the establishment of activity venues and the organization of volunteer activities.School services mainly include mental health education courses,extracurricular activities,and home-school collaboration.However,due to the fact that the current mental health service system in Yanqiao Town is still in its infancy,the content is still incomplete and it is still facing a series of problems.It is mainly manifested in the imperfection of the social mental health service system,the need to improve publicity,and the single form of mental health service services.The proportion of mental health education in schools is low and there is a lack of facilities related to mental health services.Based on the above problems,the study proposes targeted countermeasures from the following three aspects.The social level mainly includes the construction of mental health service stations and the improvement of the mental health service system;Increase the intensity of publicity on mental health services,and raise awareness of the needs of psychological services;Enrich the forms of mental health services and improve the quality of services.At the school level,it mainly includes improving the infrastructure of school mental health services;Optimize the structure of school education and increase the proportion of psychological education.In short,as the future of the motherland and the main force of the country’s future development,the physical and mental health of young people in the process of growth cannot be ignored.The mental health status of each adolescent definitely affects not only his or her personal quality of life and work in the future,but also has an important impact on the future development direction and rate of the whole society.Therefore,society,schools and families should work together to work together on mental health services for rural left-behind children. |
