| Objective: By studying the combination of warm acupuncture and acupuncture in the treatment of Cervical radiculopathy, and observing its clinical curative effect,a highly implementable treatment plan is provided for the treatment of cervical radiculopathy. Methods: In this study,seventy-two patients were required to meet the the inclusion criteria with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and were randomly assigned into thirty-six cases treatment group and thirty-six cases control group.Efficacy evaluation was then performed.Using the simplified Mc Gill pain scale, cervical radiculopathy symptoms and signs grading and quantitative scoring scale as evaluation methods,a fair evaluation of warm acupuncture combined with acupuncture was obtained.Results:(1)Before the trial, both groups must be tested by the simplified Mc Gill pain rating scale, including pain rating index(PRI),visual analogue scale(VAS),present pain(Present pain intensity,PPI)and cervical radiculopathy symptoms and signs grading quantitative score analysis.Following the statistical analysis, the result of data in two group were no statistically difference(P>0.05),the two groups of patients are comparable.(2)After treatment, the data of the above PRI,VAS,PPI,cervical radiculopathy symptoms and signs grading and quantitative scoring table were scored and analyzed, compared with the data in two groups pre-and post-treatment.Similarly,when comparing between groups after treatment, the result is P<0.05,and the scores of various data in the treatment group are lower,so compared with the control group, the treatment group has better curative effect.(3)Clinical efficacy evaluation,The recovery rate, the markedly effective rate and the effective rate in the treatment group reached 44.4%,36.1% and 11.1%,respectively,indicating that the total effective rate was 91.7%;The recovery rate, the markedly effective rate and the effective rate in the treatment group reached 25.0%,25.0%,and 33.3%,respectively,meaning the total effective rate is 83.3%.Conclusion:(1)Warm acupuncture combined with acupuncture therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy are both effective in the treatment of nerve root type cervical vertebrae.(2)After the course of treatment,in terms of relieving clinical symptoms and data scoring, warm acupuncture and acupuncture combined with acupuncture were more effective. |
