Purposes:To investigate the effect of intrauterine balloon indwelling for 7 days and15 days after transcervical resection of adhesions(TCRA)on preventing postoperative re-adhesion.Methods:A total of 86 IUA patients with moderate and severe adhesions requiring TCRA who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted to the First People’s Hospital of Huaihua from November 2019 to September 2021 were collected. They all have strong desire to have children. They were divided into control group(44 cases)and observation group(42 cases),which were treated as follows.Hysteroscopic TCRA was performed in both groups. An intrauterine contraceptive device with a Foley balloon stent was placed postoperatively, and 3-5 m L of normal saline was injected to inflate the Foley balloon. The Foley balloon stent was placed for 7 days in the control group, while the Foley balloon stent was placed for 15 days in the observation group.Artificial cycles were used to promote endometrial repair after surgery in both groups, and the intrauterine contraceptive devices was indwelled for 3 months, and hysteroscopy and intracavitary three-dimensional color Doppler ultrasound were repeated after 1 month after surgery. The relevant treatment results of the two groups were statistically analyzed, and the indicators 1 month before and after treatment in the two groups were compared and analyzed, including endometrial thickness,AFS score and grading, menstruation and pregnancy rate 6 months after treatment in the two groups.Results:1.There was no significant difference in the general conditions(age, number of pregnancies, endometrial thickness, number of preoperative uterine cavity operations and degree of adhesions)between the two groups(P > 0.05).2.The AFS score and endometrial thickness 1 month before and after treatment in the control group were compared, and the differences was statistically significant(P <0.05).The AFS score and endometrial thickness 1 month before and after treatment in the observation group were compared, and the differences was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the prevention of adhesion recurrence and menstrual improvement 1 month after treatment between the control group and the observation group(P > 0.05).4.The endometrial thickness 1 month after treatment in the control group was compared with that in the observation group, and the difference had statistical significance(P < 0.05).5.There was no significant difference in the pregnancy rate 6 months after treatment between the control group and the observation group(P > 0.05).Conclusions:Indwelling intrauterine balloon for 7 and 15 days after TCRA can effectively prevent postoperative adhesion recurrence, reduce AFS score and improve menstruation.Prolonging the duration of intrauterine balloon placement did not play a more significant role in preventing adhesion recurrence and improving menstruation, nor did it increase the pregnancy rate at 6 months after surgery, but it could have a certain effect on endometrial thickening.
