Clinical Observation Of Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis Of The Stagnation Of Phlegm And Qi Treated By Acupuncture At Cervical Jiaji Point Combined With Prunella Capsule

Objective:To observe the level of thyroid autoantibodies,TCM syndrome score and thyroid function in patients with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis(HT)with stagnation of phlegm and qi treated by acupuncture at Jiaji combined with prunella capsule,to evaluate the clinical effect of these two groups on HT of stagnation of phlegm and qi type,and to rich the treatment ideas and to provide more feasible treatment methods for the clinical treatment of HT.Methods:62 cases of HT with stagnation of phlegm and qi were randomly divided into treatment and control groups,and the final number of effective cases were 59,30 cases in the treatment group while 29 in the control group.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture at Jiaji on both sides for 0.3-0.5 inch,once every other day,three times a week,combined with taking 2 capsules of prunella orally,twice a day.And the control group was treated with taking 2 capsules of prunella orally,the frequency was the same as that of the treatment group,and the course of treatment was 4 weeks.Recording the level of thyroid autoantibodies,TCM syndrome score and thyroid function before and after the treatment,and the data collected were managed and statistically analyzed using SPSS25.0.Results:1.Comparison of TGAb and TPOAb levels:there were significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the curative effect of treatment group was overmatch the control group.2.Comparison of TCM symptom score:the difference between the two groups before and after treatment showed that there were differences between the total score and the score of cervical infarction,tightness in the chest,fatigue,chest pain,emotional depression,et al,there was no significant difference in cervical infarction score between the two groups(P>0.05),the results showed that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving the symptoms of cervical infarction,chest tightness,fatigue,chest pain,emotional depression and total score.3.Comparison of FT3,FT4,TSH levels:there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in the levels of FT3,FT4,TSH between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups can maintain the normal value of FT3,FT4,TSH in patients with HT.4.Comparison of curative effect:The total effective rate of treatment group was 93.33%and the control group is 79.31%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),which showed that acupuncture Jiaji point combined with prunella capsule had a definite clinical effect on HT with stagnation of phlegm and qi,and was superior to simply taking prunella capsule.Conclusion:Acupuncture at Jiaji combined with prunella capsule can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of patients with stagnation of phlegm and qi.The treatment group is obviously superior to the control group in reducing the level of thyroid autoantibodies and the score of TCM syndrome,worthy of clinical promotion.
