| Objective: This study explored the etiology and pathogenesis of Shaoyang and Mild cognitive impairment(MCI)from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, and observed the effectiveness and safety of Yinchen Guiyu Decoction in treating MCI with the legislation of "pivot Shaoyang, supplement gallbladder and fill marrow".Methods: From October 2021 to December 2022,65 MCI patients who met the inclusion criteria in the Third Department of Neurology and the Classics Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected, and were randomly divided into the treatment group(33 cases)and the control group(32 cases). The control group was treated with nimergoline(Siming),while the treatment group was treated with nimergoline(Siming)+Yinchen Guiyu Tang.Conduct a 12 week course of observation. Before treatment and at the 12 th week of treatment, the Montreal Cognitive Rating Scale(Mo CA),Simplified Intelligent Mental State Scale(MMSE),and Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Element Scale were evaluated. The efficacy indicators of the two groups before and after treatment were statistically analyzed.Result: 1.Intragroup comparison: Compared with before treatment,after12 weeks of treatment, the scores of Mo CA and MMSE scales in both groups increased(p<0.05),while the scores of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Elements Scale decreased significantly(p<0.01),showing significant statistical differences. This suggests that both different treatment plans can improve patients’ cognitive function and clinical symptoms of Traditional Chinese Medicine;2.Inter group comparison: The Mo CA and MMSE scores in the treatment group increased significantly(p<0.01),while the number of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome elements decreased significantly(p<0.01),both of which showed significant statistical differences. The results indicate that compared to the control group, the treatment group has more advantages in improving cognitive function and alleviating clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine. In terms of clinical efficacy, the effective rate of the control group was43.75%,while the effective rate of the treatment group was 69.7%,indicating that the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was more effective than that of the control group, and there were no significant adverse reactions during the observation period, indicating good safety. Conclusion: This study focuses on the treatment of MCI from the perspective of Shaoyang, using the method of "pivot to Shaoyang, tonifying the gallbladder and filling the marrow",and self-made Yinchen Guiyu decoction to treat MCI with gallbladder deficiency and marrow reduction syndrome. After statistical analysis, the results showed that both different treatment regimens were effective, but the combination of Yinchen Guiyu Tang and Nieergolin(Siming)had a better therapeutic effect. The treatment group had a more significant effect on improving patients’ cognitive function and clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine. Therefore, the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has a significant therapeutic effect on MCI compared to simply using Western medicine. |
