| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of hand and foot twelve-needle therapy in the treatment of limb numbness in the recovery period of stroke.Content:This study is mainly aimed at the patients with limb numbness during the recovery period of stroke, who were treated with 12 needle therapy of hands and feet and conventional acupuncture for 8 weeks respectively,to observe the improvement of limb numbness symptoms, limb sensory disorders and activities of daily living before and after treatment, and to explore the therapeutic effect of 12 needle therapy of hands and feet on limb numbness during the recovery period of stroke. Methods:Sixty patients with limb numbness in the convalescent stage of stroke who met the criteria were randomly divided into two groups,30 in the treatment group and 30 in the control group. The treatment group was treated with 12 needles of hands and feet, while the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture. Before treatment, after 4 weeks of treatment and after 8 weeks of treatment, the scores of numbness sensation score(VAS score),limb sensory impairment score(FMA score)and Barthel index of the two groups were evaluated and recorded, and the collected data were statistically analyzed to observe the clinical efficacy.Results:1.Before treatment, the basic data of patients were first analyzed, and the gender and disease type and symptom type distribution of patients in the two groups were X2 test,P>0.05,age and course were tested by t,P>0.05,indicating that there was no difference between the treatment group and the control group in the general data, which was comparable.2.Before treatment, the numbness scores of the two groups were compared by rank sum test,Z=-0.759,P=0.448>0.05,indicating that there was no obvious difference in numbness symptoms between the two groups, which was comparable; After treatment, the numbness scores of the two groups after treatment were reduced, and the intra-group comparison was very significant(P<0.01),indicating that both groups were effective in alleviating limb numbness during stroke recovery;after 8 weeks of treatment, the numbness scores of the two groups were compared by rank sum test,Z=-2.088,P=0.037<0.05,indicating that the efficacy of the two groups was significantly different, and the treatment group had a better effect in improving the symptoms of limb numbness in the recovery period of stroke.3.Before treatment, the sensory impairment score was compared with the t-test,P=0.427>0.05,indicating that there was no obvious difference in sensory dysfunction between the two groups and was comparable;the sensory impairment score after treatment in both groups was reduced compared with before treatment, and there was a very significant difference in comparison within the group(P<0.01),indicating that both groups had efficacy in improving sensory impairment;after the rank sum test, the sensory impairment scores of the two groups were compared after 8 weeks of treatment,Z=-3.279,P=0.001<0.01,a very significant difference, indicating that the treatment group was more effective in reducing sensory impairment.4.Before the start of treatment, the Barthel index score of the two groups of patients was compared with the rank sum test,Z=-0.772,P=0.440>0.05,no obvious difference, comparable;after treatment, the Barthel index score of the two groups of patients was increased compared with before treatment, and the intra-group comparison difference was very significant(P<0.01),indicating that the control group and the treatment group were effective in improving the ability to perform activities of daily living;after the end of treatment, the Barthel index score of the two groups was compared with the t-test,P=0.013<0.05,a significant difference, indicating that the treatment group had a better effect on improving the patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living.5.After 8 weeks of treatment,30 patients in the treatment group,6 cases of numbness symptoms basically disappeared,20 cases of numbness symptoms were significantly improved,3 cases of symptoms were relieved,1 case had no effect, the total effective rate was 96.7%,30 patients in the control group,2 cases of numbness symptoms basically disappeared,17 cases of numbness symptoms were significantly reduced,6 cases of numbness symptoms were reduced,5 cases of symptoms were not relieved, and the total effective rate was 83.3%.Z=-2.384,P=0.017<0.05,by rank sum test, indicating that the difference in efficacy between the two groups was very significant and statistically significant, indicating that the efficacy of hand and foot twelve-needle therapy in the treatment of limb numbness in the recovery period of stroke was better than that of conventional acupuncture.Conclusion:Twelve-needle therapy of hands and feet can improve the symptoms of numbness of limbs in patients with stroke in the recovery period, reduce the sensory disturbance of limbs, and improve the ability of daily living. |
