Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Zhuling Zexie tea combined with silybin capsules in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),and provide new ideas and methods for the trementent of NAFLD.Method: A total of 60 patients meeting the inclusion criteria of this study were collected, and randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with oral silybin capsules based on the diet-exercise intervention. The experimental group was treated with Zhuling Zexie tea on the basis of the control group. The total course was 12 weeks.Relevant data such as TCM syndrome scores, liver B-ultrasound performance, liver enzymology, blood lipids, plasma glucose and uric acidand of the two groups were recorded before and after the treatment.Came to conclusion through statistical analysis. Results: 1.Comparison of clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine: After the treament, the total scores of TCM syndrome of both groups were reduced significantly compared with before(P<0.01).Comparing between the two groups, the experimental group was more effective in reducing the medical syndrome scores in the comparison among the two groups(P<0.05).The total effective rates of TCM syndrome in the experimental group was 80.00%,compared with 65.52% in the control group. The overall efficacy of the experimental group was better compared to the control group(P<0.05).2.Comparison of liver enzymology: ALT,AST and γ-GT in the within-group comparison were reduced in both groups after the treatment(P<0.01).The experimental group showed better efficacy in reducing γ-GT in the comparison among the two groups(P<0.05).After the treatment, there was no significant difference in the efficacy of either ALT or AST between groups(P>0.05).The total effective rates of liver enzymology in the experimental group was 93.33%,compared with 86.21% in the control group, and there was no significant difference in the overall efficacy between groups.3.Comparison of blood lipid: TC and TG in the within-group comparison were reduced in both groups after the treatment(P<0.05).The HDL-C improved significantly in neither group(P>0.05).The experimental group showed better efficacy in reducing TC and TG than the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of fasting plasma glucose and uric acid: FPG and UA were reduced in both groups after the treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the efficacy of either FPG or UA in two groups after the treatment(P>0.05).5.Liver B-ultrasound comparison: The total effective rates of liver B-ultrasound in the experimental group was 60.00%,compared with 51.72% in the control group. There was no significant difference in the overall efficacy between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: Zhuling Zexie tea combined with silybin capsules was effective in ameliorating the indexes of clinical symptoms, ultrasound manifestation and serum liver enzymology, blood lipids, plasma glucose and uric acid of patients with NAFLD,and was more effective than silybin capsules alone in ameliorating clinical symptoms and γ-GT,TC and TG.The result suggested that it was valuable for application and promotion.
