Clinical Observation On Umbilical Acupuncture Combined With Body Acupuncture In Treating Abdominal Obesity Of Spleen Deficiency And Dampness Resistance Type

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of navel acupuncture combined with body acupuncture in the treatment of abdominal obesity patients with spleen deficiency and dampness resistance,in order to determine the reliability of navel acupuncture therapy and preliminarily explore its mechanism of action,and to observe the effectiveness of navel acupuncture combined with body acupuncture,in order to provide a new and effective treatment method for clinical.Methods: A total of 68 patients with abdominal obesity were included in this study.They were divided into treatment group and control group according to the principle of clinical randomized control.Both groups were given diet and exercise guidance.The acupoints of the control group were selected based on the idea of "guiding Qi to return to the source and strengthening the spleen and stomach",referring to the acupuncture method of "consolidating the root and strengthening the source,strengthening the spleen and stomach",and the main acupoints were Zhongwan,Xiawan,Qihai,Guanyuan,Tianshu(double),Daheng(double),Daimai(double),Quchi(double),Fenglong(double),Yinlingquan(double),Zusanli(double).The treatment group selected Kan position,Dui position,Kun position and Gen position on the basis of the control group combined with navel acupuncture treatment;Both groups were treated with acupuncture once every other day,10 times as a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment.Observe and record the changes of BW,BMI,WC,HC,WHR,TG,LDL-C,and the quantitative scoring table of TCM symptoms before and after treatment,and use SPSS25.0 to statistically analyze the data obtained,comprehensively evaluate the efficacy and summarize the differences.Results: A total of 68 cases were included in the study,4 cases fell out during the treatment,and 64 cases were finally tested,including 32 cases in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group.There was no difference in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).(1)Comprehensive efficacy evaluation: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.62%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 78.12%.The total effective rate of the two groups was significantly different(P<0.05),and the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(2)Comparison of TCM syndrome score: intra-group comparison showed that after treatment,the quantitative score of TCM syndrome of abdominal obesity with spleen deficiency and dampness resistance in both groups decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the control group,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of obesity-related indicators: intra-group comparison showed that BW,BMI,WC,HC,WHR,TG,LDL-C in the two groups after treatment were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in body weight,BMI,waist circumference and waist to hip ratio between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference after treatment(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group.There was no significant difference in HC,TG and LDL-C between the two groups before and after treatment.(4)Safety evaluation: During the whole treatment process,6 patients had slight subcutaneous bruises at the acupoints,which could be absorbed and disappeared within 1-2 weeks without special treatment;There were 2 patients with subcutaneous induration,which disappeared within 8-10 days without special treatment,and no other adverse reactions and serious adverse reactions were found.Conclusion(s):(1)Umbilical acupuncture combined with body acupuncture can effectively treat abdominal obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness resistance type.(2)Umbilical acupuncture combined with body acupuncture can effectively reduce the body weight,BMI and waist circumference of patients with abdominal obesity due to spleen deficiency and dampness resistance,reduce the content of TG and LDL-C in serum.(3)The overall effect of the navel acupuncture combined with body acupuncture group is better than that of the simple body acupuncture group,indicating that the navel acupuncture as an additional treatment of ordinary acupuncture can improve the clinical effect of body acupuncture on abdominal obesity of spleen deficiency and dampness resistance type to a certain extent.
