Objective: To observe the related effect of mirror therapy combined with acupuncture on lower limb walking function in aging patients with hemiplegia after stroke, and to provide some new ideas and basis for clinical improvement of limb dysfunction in patients with hemiplegia. Methods: 40 cases of aging hemiplegia patients after stroke were selected by inclusion criteria and randomly divided into control group and experimental group,20 patients in each group, both groups received routine treatment of rehabilitation medicine, control group and experimental group received acupuncture treatment, leaving needles for 30min/ time,6 times a week for 4 weeks. In the experimental group, mirror therapy was added for 30 min each time,6 times a week for 4 weeks.Data including the Lower extremity Motor Function Rating Scale,Holden Walking Function Scale, lower extremity muscle strength rating, plantar pressure and balance meter were measured before and after treatment to assess the improvement of lower extremity motor function in both groups. After sorting out the measured data,SPSS26.0statistical software was used for statistical analysis.p < 0.05 indicated that the data had statistical significance. Results: A total of 37 patients completed the experiment, including 18 in the control group and 19 in the experimental group.1.There was no statistical significance in the comparison of basic information and various indicators between the two groups before treatment.2.Fugl-Meyer Lower Limb Motor Function Scale and Holden Walking function Scale: After treatment, the scores of both the control group and the experimental group increased,p < 0.05 indicating statistical significance;after treatment,p < 0.05 indicating statistical significance between the experimental group and the control group.3.Lower limb muscle strength: the muscle strength level of the control group and the experimental group increased before and after treatment,p < 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant. After treatment, the difference between the control group and the experimental group was statistically significant(p < 0.05).4.Plantar pressure: after treatment, compared with the control group and the experimental group, the affected side weight increased,p < 0.05 difference was statistically significant,P<0.05 between the treatment group and the control group after treatment, the difference was statistically significant.5.Balance instrument: After treatment, compared with the control group and the experimental group, the quantitative indicators of COP moving X axis and Y axis, the standard deviation before and after, the standard deviation of left and right, the average speed before and after, the average speed of left and right, the circumference of the motion track, the area of the motion track were improved, and the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).After treatment,p < 0.05 was found between the experimental group and the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Mirror therapy combined with acupuncture and acupuncture can improve the lower limb motor function of patients with hemiplegia after stroke.2.Mirror therapy combined with acupuncture therapy can improve the lower limb motor function of patients with hemiplegia after stroke, including lower limb muscle strength and patients’ body balance ability, which is significantly superior to acupuncture therapy alone.
