| Objective:To observe and explore the therapeutic effect of Jushuang lotion fumigation combined with acupoint application on postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids as well as the influence on serum PGE2 and IL-8 levels,and to evaluate its effectiveness and safety.In order to relieve postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids,a more effective and stable treatment scheme was explored.Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,80 patients admitted to the surgery department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from October 2021 to October 2022 who underwent external stripping and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids were selected and randomly divided into observation group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases).Conventional postoperative treatment was performed in both groups,control group was fumigated with 1:5000potassium permanganate solution,and observation group was fumigated with Jushuang lotion combined with acupoint application.The pain,edema scores and exudation,as well as the level and safety of pain mediators PGE2 and inflammatory factor IL-8 in serum,were observed and recorded in the 2 groups on day 1,3,5 and 7 after surgery,and the clinical efficacy was determined.Results: 1.There were no statistical differences in age,gender,course of disease,mixed hemorrhoids score and preoperative initial VAS score in baseline data between the two groups(all P > 0.05),so the data between the two groups were comparable.2.Comparison of postoperative pain scores: there was no statistical difference in VAS scores between the two groups on the first day after surgery(P > 0.05);The pain scores of the control group were higher than those of the observation group at the 3rd,5th and7 th day after surgery,and there were statistical differences(all P < 0.05).3.Comparison of postoperative wound edema scores: there was no statistical difference between the two groups on the postoperative day 1(P > 0.05);The edema score of the control group was higher than that of the observation group at the 3rd,5th and 7th day after surgery,and there were statistical differences(all P < 0.05).4.Comparison of postoperative wound seepage: there was no statistical difference between the two groups on postoperative day 1 and 7(all P > 0.05).At the 3rd and 5th day after surgery,the seepage scores of control group were higher than those of observation group,and there were statistical differences(all P < 0.05).5.Comparison of serum contents of PGE2 and IL-8 after surgery: there were no statistical differences in serum contents of PGE2 and IL-8 between 2 groups on day 1after surgery(all P > 0.05);The serum contents of PGE2 and IL-8 in 2 groups were decreased to varying degrees on the 7th day after surgery compared with the 1st day after surgery,and the serum contents in the control group were higher than those in the observation group,with statistical difference(all P < 0.05).6.Comparison of clinical efficacy: there was a statistical difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group(90.0%)was higher than that of the control group(82.5%),and the clinical efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group.7.Safety evaluation: There were no abnormalities in blood routine,biochemical set and other related indicators and vital signs in the two groups before and after treatment,and no adverse reactions such as dizziness,rash and drug allergy were observed.Both methods have good security.Conclusions: Jushuang Lotion fumigation combined with acupoint application has good efficacy and safety in the treatment of postoperative pain of mixed hemorrhoids,which can effectively relieve the pain of patients with mixed hemorrhoids after surgery,alleviate the wound edema and fluid leakage,reduce the content of PGE2 and IL-8 in serum,andpromote postoperative recovery.At the same time has the advantages of simple operation,cost-effective,non-invasive treatment,suitable for mixed hemorrhoids postoperative use,worthy of promotion. |
