Intervention Study Of Fumigation And Washing With Hongshi Xiaotong Topical Liquid On Chronic Cervicitis Complicated With Human Papillomavirus Infection Of Damp-heat Type

Objective:By observing the clinical efficacy of the treatment of chronic cervicitis combined with human papillomavirus infection by fumigation with Hongshi xiaotong topical liquid,To investigate the efficacy and safety of topical fumigation with Hongshi xioatong topical liquid on human papillomavirus clearance,chronic cervicitis signs(Cervical erosion,cervical glandular cysts,cervical polyps,cervical hypertrophy)and the treatment of Chinese medical evidence.To provide new ideas for the treatment of the disease.Methods:A total of 84 patients with chronic cervicitis with human papillomavirus infection who attended the TCM gynecology clinic of Wuhu TCM Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were included,and were divided into two groups according to the random number table method.Control group:intravaginal administration of recombinant human interferon α-2b effervescent capsules;observation group:combined with Hongshi xiaotong topical liquid.After 3 menstrual cycles of treatment,we compared the effects of different treatment methods on HPV infection,signs of chronic cervicitis and TCM symptoms in the two groups to assess the efficacy and observe the safety of the drugs.Results:1.The baseline conditions(age,age at first sex,number of deliveries,clinical signs score,and TCM evidence score)were comparable in both groups before treatment.2.At the end of 3 menstrual cycles of treatment,the human papillomavirus infection rate decreased in both groups,and the combination of Chinese and Western drugs was more effective in virus clearance(P=0.043).3.The TCM syndrome scores decreased to different degrees in both groups,,and the treatment was effective.Western medicine was effective on the amount and color of vaginal discharge and vulvar itching;the combination of Chinese and Western medicine was effective on the nature of vaginal discharge,odor and systemic symptoms in addition to the above mentioned efficacy.The efficacy of the two groups was comparable in improving vulvar itching and burning pain(P=0.203).4.In terms of clinical signs,both groups had no significant effect on cervical polyps.The efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group in improving the degree of cervical erosion and contact bleeding,and no difference was seen in the rest(cervical glandular cyst,cleanliness,thickening and pressure pain in the adnexal area,and cervical hypertrophy).5.There was no abnormality in the test of relevant safety indexes during the whole process of patient observation in both groups;and the topical fumigation with topical application of Hongshi xioatong topical liquid was safe.Conclusion:In the treatment of chronic cervicitis with human papillomavirus infection,both Hongshi xiaotong topical liquid and Recombinant Human Interferon α-2b effervescent Capsules can accelerate the clearance process of human papillomavirus and facilitate the recovery of inflammatory changes in the cervix.And Hongshi xiaotong topical liquid has the advantages of traditional medicine,which takes a holistic approach and treats with evidence.It is better in accelerating virus clearance,improving TCM evidence and promoting recovery of inflammation,and provides diversified treatment options for patients actively seeking TCM treatment,which is worthy of further study and promotion.
