Objective:To explore a feasible method for "non-invasive" diagnosis and treatment chronic cervicitis by combination liquid-PREP test(LPT) and focused ultrasound (FU).Methods:Smears of cervical exfotialed cells were obtained and carefully prepared according to LPT procedures, then diagnosised by the Bethesda System(TBS).Patients of cervicetis with WNLws (within normal limits with signs) according to the results of smear and TBS were treated with FU.The changes of symptoms and signs of the patients in several time points were carefully recorded before and after FU treatment.Meanwhile, complications as well as its severity and duration were also recorded.Based on those datas, the effectiveness and the suitable treatment parameters of FU in different levels of chronic cervicitis were obtained. Results:Among the 280 cases of cervicitis with WNLws which diagnosised by LPT and TBS,the total curative rate was 98.21% after FU single treatment, the rate for slight and moderate cases were 100% and 95.65% in severe patients. Conclusion:It was a feasible method to treat chronic cervicitis with FU combination LPT in clinic, less side effects were observed and this feature could be more suitable for the patients of nullipara.
