| Objective: In this study, the clinical efficacy and index changes of Gusongbao Granules combined with Alendronate Sodium in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP)with kidney yang deficiency were observed, and the efficacy and safety were discussed,so as to provide a reference for clinical application. Methods: From September 2021 to September 2022,80 outpatients or inpatients with PMOP of kidney yang deficiency who met the inclusion criteria were selected from the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical College.According to the principle of random grouping, the patients were divided into two groups, treatment group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases). The patients in the treatment group were treated with Gusongbao Granules combined with Alendronate Sodium, and the patients in the control group were treated with Alendronate Sodium. The continuous treatment time was 6 months. The general data and date on visual analog scale(VAS),bone mineral density(BMD),procollagen type I N-peptide(P1NP),beta C-terminal crosslinked telopeptides of type I collagen(β-CTX),TCM syndrome scores and safety index were collected and recorded for both groups 1 day before treatment and 6 months after treatment. The resulting data were analyzed and processed with the statistical software SPSS25.0 to assess the efficacy. Results: Before treatment, the general data(including age,BMI,menopausal years, course of disease)of the two groups were statistically analyzed. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),so the two groups were comparable. The specific results are as follows:1.VAS scores: before treatment: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment: the VAS scores of the two groups decreased(P<0.05),and the treatment group decreased more significantly(P<0.05).2.BMD: before treatment: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment: the BMD of the two groups was improved(P<0.05),and the improvement effect of the treatment group was more obvious(P<0.05).3.P1NP: before treatment: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment: the P1 NP of the treatment group was improved(P<0.05),and the P1 NP of the control group was not significantly improved(P<0.05).4.β-CTX:before treatment: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment: β-CTX was improved in both groups(P<0.05),but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).5.TCM symptom scores: before treatment: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment: the scores of TCM symptoms in both groups decreased(P<0.05),and the treatment group decreased more significantly(P<0.05).6.Chinese medicine symptom efficacy: after treatment, the total effective rate of 89.47% in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group 67.57%(P<0.05).7.Clinical efficacy: after treatment, the total effective rate of 92.11% in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of in the control group70.27%(P<0.05).8.Safety index: 2 cases of gastrointestinal adverse reactions in the treatment group and 3 cases in the control group, with no statistically significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusion: The treatment of Gusongbao Granules combined with Alendronate Sodium is effective, which can effectively relieve the symptoms of low back pain in patients with PMOP of kidney yang deficiency and improve the quality of life.It has ideal clinical effect in improving bone metabolism and BMD,and its curative effect is better than that of Alendronate Sodium alone. It is suitable for clinical application and promotion. |
