Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy, symptom improvement, recurrence rate and safety of modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction combined with Mosapride citrate in the treatment of functional dyspepsia(postprandial discomfort syndrome of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation),and to supplement the reference basis for the treatment of this disease by Traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods:72 patients who were treated in the Classical ward of Chinese medicine in Cangzhou hospital of integrated Chinese and Western medicine and met the requirements,According to the random number table(Schedule II),72patients were divided into 2 groups. The treatment group was given modified Shengyang Yiwei decoction and Mosapride citrate tablets. The control group was given Mosapride citrate tablets alone. The course of treatment was 4weeks.During the treatment, the clinical efficacy indicators of the two groups of cases were observed and analyzed to evaluate the efficacy. After treatment, the patients were followed up for 2 months to observe and record the changes of TCM syndrome score and evaluate the recurrence rate. The drug reactions of patients were recorded, analyzed and processed throughout the study,in order to evaluate the safety of the two groups of treatment.Spss24.0 software was used to statistically analyze the data in this study. Results:One case in the treatment group dropped off(lost interview),one case in the control group dropped off(taking other drugs)and one case rejected(infected with COVID-19).Finally,35 cases in the clinical observation treatment group and 34 cases in the control group, there are 69 patients involved in the study. The baseline data(gender, age, course of disease)of the two groups were comparable(P>0.05).The total score(t test)and single score(rank sum test)of TCM syndromes before treatment were comparable(P>0.05).1.Efficacy comparison(rank sum test)The effective rate of the modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction combined with Mosapride citrate tablets in the treatment group was 91.43%,and the effective rate of the control group using Mosapride citrate tablets alone was 82.35%,suggesting that the modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction combined with Mosapride citrate tablets in the treatment of functional dyspepsia(postprandial discomfort syndrome of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation)was better than that using western medicine alone(P<0.05).2.Comparison of total points of TCM symptoms(rank sum test)After treatment, the total score of TCM symptoms in both groups decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the intra-group difference was statistically significant, suggesting that both groups of drugs can treat functional dyspepsia(postprandial discomfort syndrome of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation). After treatment, the total score of TCM syndromes in the treatment group decreased more than that in the control group(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant, suggesting that the modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction combined with Mosapride citrate tablets could better improve the symptoms of functional dyspepsia(postprandial discomfort syndrome of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation type)than the control group.3.Comparison of single symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine(rank sum test)Compared with before and after treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that the two groups of drugs can improve the symptoms. The two groups have the same effect on improving the symptoms of early satiety, belching, fatigue and loose stool.Modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction and Mosapride citrate tablets group was better than Mosapride citrate tablets alonein epigastric fullness or flatulence(P<0.05),was significantly better than Mosapride citrate tablets in anorexia(P<0.01).4.Comparison of recurrence rate(x~2 Test)The recurrence rate of modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction combined with mosapride citrate group was 6.25%,and that of mosapride citrate group alone was 35.71%.It is suggested that the long-term efficacy of modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction combined with mosapride citrate is significantly better than that of mosapride citrate alone(P<0.01).5.Safety comparisonIn the course of treatment and follow-up,the vital signs of patients in both groups were stable, there was no obvious abnormal change in the auxiliary examination, and there were no adverse drug reactions. Conclusions:The modified Shengyang Yiwei Decoction combined with Mosapride citrate tablets has a exact curative effect on the treatment of functional dyspepsia(postprandial discomfort syndrome of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation),which can effectively improve symptoms, reduce recurrence rate and have good safety in clinical practice, can be popularized and applied in clinical practice.
