Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Plaque Psoriasis With Wugong Baidu Decoction With Pricking And Cupping And The Clinical Medication Regularity Of Professor Yang Suqing

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Wugong Baidu decoction combined with pricking and cupping therapy in the treatment of plaque psoriasis(blood stasis pattern),and to collect and organize the prescription data of Professor Yang Suqing’s outpatient clinic in treating plaque psoriasis(blood stasis pattern),and to analyze and excavate Professor Yang Suqing’s prescription usage pattern and clinical experience.Methods:45 patients with plaque psoriasis(blood stasis pattern)who attended the Dermatology Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 1,2021,to January 31,2023,and met the inclusion criteria in the order of consultation.The method of own control study was adopted.44 cases were actually completed during this clinical observation,and 1 case was dropped because the medication was not administered according to the medical prescription.The PASI score,quality of life DLQI score and TCM symptom score of patients before and after treatment with Wugong Baidu Decoction orally combined with acupuncture cupping therapy were collected on the days 0±2,14±2,and 28±2 of treatment.Patient safety indicators were also recorded.The first treatment cases of 353 patients with plaque psoriasis(blood stasis pattern)who met the criteria for outpatient treatment in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2023 were collected,and the collected case data were compiled and a database was established using the TCM inheritance computing platform software(V3.0)to analyze and excavate the pattern of medication used by Professor Yang Suqing for plaque psoriasis and to summarize and explore her clinical experience.Results:1.After treatment,the PASI scores and TCM symptom scores decreased significantly in 44 patients compared with those before treatment(P<0.05)..2.After treatment,the DLQI scores of 44 patients with skin diseases were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).3.After treatment,21 cases were cured,18 cases were significantly effective,4 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective,and the total effective rate was 80.49%.4.Through the analysis of the first prescription of 353 cases,it was concluded that Professor Yang Suqing commonly used 202 drugs with a total frequency of 6,161 times,and the top ten drugs in order of frequency of use were Fangfeng,fine leaf schizonepeta herb,Licorice,periostracum cicada,Angelica sinensis,Chuanxiong,radix paeoniae alba,earthworm,centipede,and fossil fragments.5.In this study,353 cases were collected,the minimum age was 18 years old,the maximum age was 65 years old,and the average age was 35.75 years old,among which the number of cases from 18 to 35 years old was higher.6.By analyzing the 353 cases’ data on drug meridian entries and flavors,the four qi were mainly warm and cold,the five flavors were mainly sweet,pungent,and bitter,and the meridians were mainly liver,spleen,and lung meridians.7.In this study,the frequency analysis of 202 herbal medicines in the first prescription of 353 cases was conducted,and the top five were deficiency-tonifying medicinal,exterior-releasing medicinal,heat-clear medicinal,liver-pacifying and wind-extinguishing medicinal,and blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicinal.8.In this study,the drug group data of Professor Yang Suqing’s treatment of blood stasis evidence in plaque psoriasis included 143 items and 13 medicinal herbs,and the commonly used combinations of 2,3,and 4-5 medicinal herbs were 41,51 and 49 groups in that sequence.9.A total of 5 groups of core combinations were extracted in this study.Conclusions:1.Wugong Baidu decoction combined with pricking and cupping therapy can effectively improve the PASI score,TCM syndrome score and DLQI score of plaque psoriasis(blood stasis pattern).2.Wugong Baidu decoction combined with pricking and cupping therapy is a safe and effective method.3.Fangfeng,fineleaf schizonepeta herb,Licorice,periostracum cicada,Angelica sinensis,Chuanxiong,radix paeoniae alba,earthworm,centipede,and fossil fragments were the main drugs used by Professor Yang Suqing in treating plaque psoriasis(blood stasis pattern).4.Professor Yang Suqing’s treatment of plaque psoriasis(blood stasis pattern)is mainly based on deficiency-tonifying medicinal,exterior-releasing medicinal,heat-clear medicinal,liver-pacifying and wind-extinguishing medicinal,and blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicinal,with the three meridians of liver,spleen,and lung being the majority.5.The basic treatment method of Professor Yang Suqing for plaque psoriasis(blood stasis)is to benefit the Qi,activate the blood and resolve the stasis,dispel wind,activate the meridians,and relieve itching.
