| Objective:To explore the correlation between different surgical procedures and postoperative recurrence rate of laryngeal papilloma.Method:A total of 108 patients diagnosed as laryngeal papilloma and treated with CO2 laser surgery or low-temperature plasma surgery were selected as the study subjects from 2009 to 2022,who were diagnosed as laryngeal papilloma by pathology.Among them,78 patients underwent CO2laser resection under a supportive laryngoscope, and 30 patients underwent low-temperature plasma resection under a supportive laryngoscope.Among the two groups of patients, the CO2 laser group included 78 patients, including 45 males and 33females,with an average age of 26.73±2.56 years. The low-temperature plasma group included 30 patients, including 17 males and 13 females, with an average age of16.53±2.82 years.Postoperative follow-up was conducted in two groups of patients to determine whether the symptoms of hoarseness and dyspnea were relieved, and whether hoarseness occurred again or worsened compared to the previous one.A self controlled study was conducted on the preoperative and postoperative efficacy of patients.Record the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative conditions of patients for comparison.Counting data are described by rate and constituent ratio indicators, and hypothesis testing is conducted using testing methods. Results:There was a difference in recurrence rate and postoperative recurrence rate between both surgical patients, and the difference was statistically significant,P<0.05.Conclusion:1.Adult patients are more likely to have a solitary laryngeal papilloma.Juvenile patients are more likely to develop multiple laryngeal papilloma.2.The postoperative recurrence rate of solitary laryngeal papilloma may be lower than that of multiple laryngeal papilloma.3.The recurrence rate after resection of single or multiple laryngeal papilloma may be lower than that of CO2 laser laryngeal papilloma resection. |
