| Objective: By comparing the therapeutic effects of beryllium needle and dry needle assisted Tuina on subjects with chronic mechanical neck pain in short term(3 weeks after treatment)and medium term(15 weeks after treatment),reliable research results were obtained,and optimal acupuncture treatment suggestions were provided for clinicians and patients.Methods: A total of 64 subjects with definite diagnosis in the Second Department of Spine,the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January2022 to January 2023 were included.According to the principle of random allocation,they were divided into two groups: experimental group: beryllium needle combined with Tuina group.The control group:dry needle combined with Tuina group.On the basis of the treatment of chronic mechanical neck pain with tuina manipulation,the experimental group and the control group were respectively treated with beryllium needle and dry needle for corresponding intervention.The Neck disability index(NDI)and Numerical rating scale(NRS)scores were measured 1 day before the intervention,1 day after the intervention,3 weeks after the intervention,and 15 weeks after the intervention.Results:There was no statistical significance in the general data(gender,age and course of disease)between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05),and the basic data of the two groups were comparable.The NRS and NDI scores of both groups decreased significantly after treatment.The NRS and NDI scores at the third week after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference in the NRS and NDI scores at the 15 th week after treatment(P > 0.05).The difference in efficacy between the two groups gradually became smaller with the extension of follow-up time.Conclusion:Beryllium needle assisted Tuina can significantly reduce chronic mechanical neck pain caused by strain injury in the short term(3 weeks after treatment),which has the value of clinical promotion for daily outpatient and inpatient. |
