| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Qufeng Tongluo method combined with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of patients with ophthalmoplegia. Methods:A total of 72 affected eyes that met the diagnostic criteria were collected and divided into control and observation groups in a 1:1 ratio using statistical methods. The control group received internal medicine with Qianzhengsan plus(Tianjiang granules),washed with 150 ml boiled water, and divided into early, middle, and late portions, which were taken three times for 10 consecutive days as one course.Observation group on the basis of the control group, acupuncture was added, once daily, and after obtaining Qi from acupuncture, the needle was retained for 30 min,10 days for 1 course. Each session was finished with a 15 day rest before proceeding to the next 1 session for a total of 3 sessions. The data of TCM syndrome scores before and after the 3 treatments were collected and analyzed using spss25.0 to evaluate the effective rate of using the combination of Qufeng Tongluo method of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine to treat patients with ophthalmoplegia. Results: A total of 72 eyes met the inclusion criteria: 68 of them completed the study,35 in the observation group(29 monocular,3 binocular)and 33 in the control group(25monocular,4 binocular).1.The general condition(gender, age, disease duration, etiology),primary disease score(regarded as one for two,eye position deviation, eye movement disturbance)and secondary disease score(compensated head position, dizziness and vertigo, nausea and vomiting, other symptoms)of patients were collected and compared with each other.2.Comparing the curative effect of the two groups before and after three times of treatment, there was no significant difference(P > 0.05)except for nausea and vomiting and other symptom scores in the control group’s two times, while the compensatory head position and dizziness scores in the primary disease and the secondary disease were statistically significant(P < 0.05).Both Qianzhengsan plus and Qianzhengsan plus with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine have curative effects, and the latter is superior to the former in treatment.3.TCM syndrome efficacy: the total effective rate was 94.29% in the observation group and 81.82% in the control group.Acupuncture combined with Qianzhengsan plus treatment of patients with ophthalmoplegia was more effective than oral Qianzhengsan plus treatment alone. Conclusion: The combination of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine improved the TCM syndrome of wind phlegm blocking collaterals type ophthalmoplegia significantly, which was overall significantly better than Qianzhengsan plus, and the therapeutic effect was more desirable.Acupuncture combined with Qianzhengsan plus can shorten the disease course cycle, reduce the medical funding and has no adverse effects, which can be preferred and is worth promoting. |
