| Objective: The purpose of this study is to use data mining methods to summarize and analyze my tutor Deng Hou bo’s clinical experience in treating chronic non-atrophic gastritis(CNAG),and to induce tutor’s treatment of CNAG’s formula and medication rules, providing ideas for the clinical treatment of this disease. Methods: 305 cases of patients with CNAG treated by Deng Hou bo using Chinese medicine in the outpatient office were collected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. To analyze the data,WPS Office 2021 software,SPSS Modeler 18.0,Cytoscape 3.9.1,and SPSS Statistics 25.0 were utilized to conduct frequency statistics, association analysis, complex network analysis, and cluster analysis. The final results include frequencies of various types of data, associated combinations, strongly linked combinations of Chinese medicine, core group prescriptions, and high frequency drug clusters. Results:The statistical results obtained from data mining of 305 cases are as follows:1.Gender and age distribution: there were 115 male cases(37.70%)and 190 female cases(62.30%),with a male-to-female ratio of 1:1.65.The age of the patients ranged from 14 to 85 years old,and the highest number of patients was in the 50-59 age group.2.Differentiation of disease and syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine : A total of 5Traditional Chinese Medicine diseases were included in this study, with stomach bloating(158cases)and stomach pain(110 cases)having the highest frequencies, followed by acid reflux, hiccup, and emesis.Types of syndrome: there were 11 types of syndromes identified, with the highest frequencies observed for liver and stomach qi stagnation(54 cases)and deficient cold of spleen and stomach(44 cases). The remaining types of syndromes were liver and stomach gloomy heat, intense stomach fire,spleen-deficiency and qi stagnation,cold-heat jumble, food stagnation, stomach yin deficiency,liver-depression and spleen-deficiency,heat-wet in spleen and stomach, and gastric blood stasis, ranked from high to low frequency.3.Symptoms,tongue and pulse: a total of 96 symptoms were extracted, with a total frequency of 2807 occurrences, the most frequently reported symptoms were bloating(185times)and stomach pain(170 times). There were 9 tongue appearances, the highest frequency being red tongue(139 times). There were 10 types of tongue coating, the most frequent being white tongue coating(90 times).there were 18 types of pulse, with the most frequent being slow pulse(90 times).4.Chinese medicine: A total of 160 kinds of Chinese medicine were extracted in this study, with 36 drugs having a frequency greater than 60 times. The most commonly used drugs were Bupleurum,Zhigancao,Radix Paeoniae alba,Jujube,Poria,Tangerine Peel,Codonopsis,Astragalus,Angelica,Rhizome Pinelliae Preparata,Cassia Twig,Radix Aucklandiae,Ginger and Rhizoma Cyperi.Among the drugs, those belonging to the four Qi with warm category had the highest frequency, accounting for 47.64% of the total frequency. The five flavors with sweet, spicy, and bitter frequencies had the highest frequency, accounting for 89.03% of the total frequency.Spleen, lung, stomach, heart and liver were the most common channels, accounting for 79.33% of the total frequency. The drugs were classified into 17 categories, with the most commonly used categories being tonic, dispelling and qi-regulating,which accounted for 54.27% of the total proportion.5.Complex network analysis: The minimum number of links was set to 105.The results revealed that tutor’s core drugs for treating CNAG consisted of 11 drugs, namely Bupleurum,Zhigancao,Radix Paeoniae alba,Jujube,Poria,Codonopsis,Astragalus,Tangerine Peel,Rhizome Pinelliae Preparata,Cassia Twig and Ginger.6.Cluster analysis: Six groups of prescriptions were clustered, and their drug compositions can be derived from classical formula prescriptions, such as Bupleurum Liver-Coursing Powder,Astragalus Jianzhong Decoction,Qingwei Powder,Lizhong Bolus,etc.Conclusion:1.In the clinical syndrome differentiation of CNAG,my tutor,Deng Hou bo,mainly differentiated liver-stomach qi stagnation syndrome and spleen-stomach deficiency cold syndrome. As a result, her treatment approach emphasizes tonifying the spleen and soothing the liver, regulating qi and addressing stagnation, and warming the middle and dispelling cold. The focus is primarily on regulating the liver, spleen, and stomach.2.Deng Hou bo,my tutor, started from the perspective of pathogenesis and focused on treating spleen deficiency and qi stagnation. The prescription is formulated by balancing cold and warm drugs, using more sweet, pungent, and bitter flavors.Classic formulae such as Bupleurum Liver-Coursing Powder and Astragalus Jianzhong Decoction were used as the base prescription for addition and subtraction treatment. |
