| Objective:To explore the effects of different treatment methods of Osteoking on the levels of IL-1β,TNF-α,and MMP-3 in patients with lumbar disc herniation and observe its efficacy and adverse reactions,so as to provide reference for clinical work and scientific research.Methods:A total of 92 patients with lumbar disc herniation treated in The Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from April 1,2022 to December 31,2022 were selected.They were randomly divided into three groups:control group(n=31),oral group(n=31)and combined group(n=30).The control group was treated with oral celecoxib,the oral group was treated with oral Osteoking,and the combined group was treated with oral Osteoking combined with penetration.All the three groups were treated for 6 weeks.Before and after treatment,serum interleukin-1β(IL-1β),tumor necrosis factor-a(TNF-α),matrix metalloproteinase-3(MMP-3)and valuesVisual Analogue Scale(VAS),Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)lumbar score were detected,and adverse reactions occurred in the three groups during treatment were observed.Finally,statistical software was used to analyze the differences of the above indicators.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,VAS score,JOA score,serum IL-1β,TNF-α,and MMP-3 values between the three groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable;2.The IL-1β value of the control group was significantly decreased,which was better than that of the oral group and the combined group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between the oral group and the combined group after treatment(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference among the two groups after treatment(P>0.05);3.The TNF-α levels of the three groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference among the three groups(P>0.05);4.The MMP-3 value of the control group had no significant difference compared with that before treatment(P>0.05).while the oral group and the combined group were significantly decreased(P<0.05),which was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05);5.After treatment,VAS scores and JOA scores of the three groups were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the combined group had better effects than the control group and the oral group(P<0.05),but there was no statistical significance between control group and oral group after treatment(P>0.05);6.During the treatment,6 patients in the control group had stomach discomfort,which was obviously relieved after symptomatic treatment such as stomach protection,while 8 patients in the oral group and 5 patients in the combined group had dry mouth and slight dizziness,which could recover by themselves.Conclusions:Osteoking can reduce the levels of TNF-α and MMP-3 in patients with LDH,but it has no obvious effect on IL-1β.At the same time,Osteoking can relieve the pain and improve the lumbar activity function of LDH patients,Its effect is similar to celecoxib,and the effect of combination therapy is better.Some patients had mild adverse reactions after taking the medicine,which could recover by themselves. |
