| Objective Observe the clinical efficacy and evaluate the safety of mongolian medicine warm acupuncture combined with round sharp acupuncture in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods From January 2021 to March 2022,65 patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria of Mongolian and Western medicine for lumbar disc herniation were selected from the outpatient or inpatient patients of the Acupuncture and Push Department of Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital. They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group in the order of treatment, with 33 patients in the observation group and 32 patients in the control group. The observation group of 33 cases was treated with Mongolian medicine warm acupuncture combined with round sharp acupuncture therapy, both of which were given once a day.The control group of 32 cases was treated with round sharp acupuncture, which was administered once a day.Seven days is one course of treatment, and both groups receive one course of treatment. After one course of treatment, observe the lumbar and lower limb VAS scores and lumbar function JOA scores of both groups of patients before treatment,3 days, and 7 days after treatment. After analyzing various data using SPSS26.0 statistical software, the efficacy and safety of the two groups were compared. Results Comparison of VAS scores at various time points before and after treatment between the two groups showed that the VAS scores of the waist and lower limbs of both groups of patients gradually decreased with the prolongation of treatment time(all P<0.05),and the VAS scores of the waist and lower limbs of patients on the third day after treatment showed that the observation group had lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).The JOA scores of lumbar spine function were compared between the two groups at different time points before and after treatment. The JOA scores of lumbar spine function gradually increased with the prolongation of treatment time in both groups, and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).On the third day after treatment, the JOA scores of lumbar spine function between the two groups of patients were compared, and the observation group had a higher score than the control group(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, and the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.3%,while the total effective rate of the control group was 73.3%(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was compared between the two groups, and the incidence of adverse reactions after treatment was 6%.There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion1.Both groups of treatment showed analgesic effects, while the observation group showed faster analgesic effects.2.Both groups were effective in treating lumbar disc herniation, and the observation group had a more significant therapeutic effect.3.The combination of Mongolian medicine warm acupuncture and round sharp acupuncture has good therapeutic effect, fast onset, high safety, and few side effects in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, providing more basic data for the future treatment of lumbar disc herniation. |
