Desire In Cyberspace

From Sigmund Freud to Jacques Lacan,and then to Slavoj Zizek,the text analysis method of psychoanalysis has injected fresh blood into the research of literary theory and even the whole literary establishment.Since the end of last century,a new round of scientific and technological revolution represented by Internet technology has swept the world,prompting people to enter a new world--cyberspace.Compared with the traditional real space,cyberspace is not a real space,but it is closely related to our real life.This major space turn has attracted great attention in the academic circles.In recent years,there are an endless stream of literary and artistic works exploring cyberspace and its related technical problems and cyberspunk style.As a scholar who is keen on popular culture and pursues fashion,Zizek naturally has great interest in cyberspace.He learns widely from others,expounds his views and opinions on cyberspace with the help of Lacan psychoanalysis,Marxism and Hegel philosophy,and creates a unique Zizek cyberspace ideology.Zizek’s cyberspace ideology can be divided into three aspects.The first is an overall investigation of the exploitation of people in cyberspace by the capitalist forces behind cyberspace from a political point of view,so as to launch a political criticism on it;the second is to discuss the problems related to the existence of the subject in cyberspace;the third is to pay attention to the topics related to the subject in cyberspace.Zizek’s cyberspace ideology has attracted the attention of academic circles at home and abroad,but Zizek’s relevant theoretical research has not drawn a lot of attention so far because there is not a systematic theoretical system about it.Therefore.the author believes that since a new scientific and technological revolution is imperative,there is still a large space for the discussion of cyberspace and its related issues.The desire of subject is one of the theoretical cores and key discussion objects of psychoanalysis,and it is also an important theoretical point of Zizek’s academic ideology.Therefore,based on the existing research of Zizek’s cyberspace ideology and the desire theory of psychoanalytic,taking desire as the starting point,this paper combs and explains its related cyberspace ideology.Specifically,this paper focuses on the characteristics of cyberspace,the interpassivity in cyberspace,and the relationship between technology and desire,and finally discusses whether the subject can traverse the fantasy in cyberspace in the second chapter.What’s more,the author has realized that in recent years,the rapid development of cyberspace,artificial intelligence technology,meta universe and other new things is promoting the development of mankind to the "Post Human" Era.Therefore,the author expounds and studies the relevant theoretical issues such as corporate neo-feudalism,the digital Big Other and Singularity in the third part of the full text,so as to explore the changes and problems faced by the desire of the subject in the "Post Human" Era.Finally,the author briefly comments on the positive significance and shortcomings of Zizek’s cyberspace ideology based on her own understanding.
