| The understanding of the modern state has always been the concern of Marx in his youth. In his Doctoral Dissertation,in addition to his argument for the principle of self-consciousness,Marx proposed, through his examination of the celestial system, that the ideal world is the free association of individuals, which is also the purpose of the state.During the rheinische Zeitung period,Marx questioned the concept of the "rational state" through his contact with real life. Therefore,Marx from the freedom of the press, the class representative system, poverty and other aspects of the Prussian state comprehensive critique existing political situation, create people’s press, was proposed to build the real "democracy",the abolition of the bureaucracy, build "mutual education free association" and other major political ideas. In the period of Notes of Kreuznach and The German-French Almanac, young Marx, with the help of Feuerbach’s subject-predicate inversion, put forward the famous assertion that "civil society determines the state",revealed the hypocrisy of the bourgeois political state, advocated that human liberation transcend political liberation, and restored the essence of alienated people.According to the traditional view,Marx in this period completely followed Hegel’s concept of the rational state,so that he attributed the problem of material interests faced by Marx to the contradiction between Hegel’s "rational state" and social existence.Through the investigation and analysis of young Marx’s rational state thought, this study reveals the uniqueness of Marx’s rational state thought, which is covered by traditional viewpoints, and summarizes the differences between young Marx’s rational state thought and Hegel’s,so as to make up for the deficiency of relevant research. This study is rooted in Marx’s early texts.Starting from the difference between Marx and Hegel’s rational state thought,it firstly investigates the development history of young Marx’s view of state, and combs out the basic principles, theoretical connotations and logical evolution of young Marx’s rational state thought from three periods. Then it deduces the process of his understanding, absorption and criticism of Hegel’s thought of rational state, summarizes the turn of young Marx’s thought of rational state and the related influence on the development of his later thought, and finally concludes the theoretical significance of adhering to and developing historical materialism and communism. |
