With the rapid development of science and technology,mankind has entered the big space era that airport economy is the center of information exchange and material exchange.It is inevitable to create a broader space for the development of airport economy.Therefore,the periodical research results in this field are in urgent need of translation and being introduced to the world so as to further strengthen the economic interaction and cooperation in the field of airport economy among China and other countries to realize the international exchange and sharing of economic information.Blue Book on the Development of China A irport Economic Zones(Aerotropolis)of 2018 is the source text of this translation practice.Based on the translation problems existing in the C-E translation of economic texts,such as the grammatical expression,professional terminologies,word class conversion,hierarchy,composite sentence structure and cultural transfer,this translation report including six aspects fully introduces the whole process of the practice.Firstly,the selection of translation material,project information and the purpose and significance will be introduced.Secondly,the key tasks of each part in the translation practice,including pre-task preparations,translation process and post-task proofreading will be discussed.Thirdly,the content of translation shift theory and its guidance to this translation practice will be presented.Fourthly,there is the introduction to translation problems in level shift and category shift under the guidance of translation shift theory.And specific solutions to translation problems will be explored based on the analysis of examples in the fifth part.At last,some gains and some shortcomings are summarized in this practice.This translation report is based on translation shift theory to explore the translation techniques and translation strategies that apply to economic texts by the study of specific examples,which provides some references for other translators in the translation of economic texts.
