Reading and writing course is an auxiliary course in the primary Chinese curriculum system.Scholars’ teaching practice for many years has proved that "the primary Chinese teaching from zero starting point needs to be used to digest,deepen and expand the primary Chinese knowledge based on comprehensive courses." However,from the existing research results,the academic circles do not agree on the teaching content of reading and writing course,and most of them only discuss one side of it.It is difficult to solve the contradiction between the three dimensions of Chinese characters,reading and writing in the reading and writing class.In view of this,this paper takes the reading and writing course as the research object and discusses the "integration of reading and writing" in Chinese as a second language.Based on the analysis of the relationship between the qualitative orientation,curriculum objectives and constituent elements of the primary reading and writing course,this paper defines the teaching content as three dimensions of mutual cooperation and progress,namely,the reading dimension,the writing dimension and the recessive Chinese character dimension.and then construct the teaching model framework of "integration of reading and writing".In the construction of the teaching model,we jointly construct the reading dimension and the recessive Chinese character dimension(memorizing Chinese characters),and integrate the learning of the pronunciation,shape and meaning of the Chinese character dimension into the reading dimension as implicit learning;jointly construct the writing dimension and the recessive Chinese character dimension(practice writing Chinese characters),and integrate the feedback of the Chinese character dimension into the writing dimension.Then,from the perspective of overall reading and writing ability,Chinese character writing ability,reading ability and writing ability,a single-factor inter-subject experiment is designed to test the effectiveness of the teaching model of "integration of reading and writing".Forthermore,this paper puts forward five application suggestions from three aspects: pre-class preparation,classroom teaching and after-class feedback."Promote the expansion of learners’ target language background schemata." "Problem design should have a chain reaction." "Pay attention to classroom generative resources." "All aspects of teaching should be controlled by teachers." "Pay attention to homework feedback channels".From the experimental results,the teaching effect of the teaching mode of "integration of reading and writing" in the experimental group is better than that in the control group.The results show that "the integration of reading and writing" is beneficial to promote the primary Chinese students to know the written words,improve the reading quality,improve the logical expression of writing,slow down the "steep slope" of language learning between beginners and intermediate students,and help students learn Chinese better.
