Internalization is one of the common psychological problems of school-age children. Both the theory of parent effect and the theory of ecosystem are reminding of the influence of children’s growth environment. As the main educator of school-age children, mothers spend more time with children than other family members. Therefore, this study aims to explore the mechanism of mother child interaction. In Study 1,the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale(DASS),Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(ERQ),Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC-10)and Child Behavior Checklist(CBCL)were used to investigate the relationship between mothers’ resilience and children’s internalization. The conclusions are as follows:(1)Maternal negative emotions play a complete mediating role between mother’s resilience and children’s internalization.(2)The significant moderating effect of maternal expressive suppression strategy on the relationship between maternal anxiety and children’s internalizing problems was detected.Specifically, compared with the association between anxiety level and children’s internalizing problems among mothers with a low level of expressive suppression, anxiety level of mothers with high level of expressive suppression has a stronger predictive on children’s internalizing problems.Study 2 based on the results of study 1.Online group intervention was carried out with the theme of emotion regulation strategies and negative emotions. The results show that:(3)the group can improve the negative emotion of mothers as a whole and help them learn effective emotion regulation strategies.(4)Online group is characterized by convenient time and space, which is appreciated and supported by group members.
