COVID-19 has lasted for more than two years.The leaders of small and medium-sized enterprises with growth thinking actively explore and expect to seize the opportunity of leap-forward transformation.During this period,with the rapid development of social media,there are many groups and individuals who use online channels to share the knowledge of abroad enterprise management.How to provide high-quality enterprise management texts for readers has become one of the hot topics.Under the guidance of Nord’s theory of function plus loyalty,the author focuses on realizing the expected function and translation purpose of the target text,striving to fully consider the reading habits of readers in social networks.The first chapter of this report briefly introduces translation tasks and its characteristics;Chapter two introduces the process of translation practice,including translation plans,translation tools and translation theories.Chapter three analyzes specific translation cases under instrumental translation strategies.The fourth chapter summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of this translation practice.Through this practice,the following revelations can be drawn: first,the theory of function plus loyalty can provide concrete guidance for the English-Chinese translation practice of enterprise management texts,which can help achieve referential,expressive and appellative function and promote the spread of translation.Secondly,the translation of enterprise management texts is a purposeful activity.Using instrumental translation can explore the practical application effect of this theory in English-Chinese translation and deepen the application scope of this translation theory.After this practice,the author has a deep understanding of Nord’s translation theory and the translation work of this kind of text,and hopes that the accumulated experience and exposed shortcomings of the author can provide reference for future translation work.
