Analyze The Musical Image And Playing Technique Of Sibelius’s Violin Concerto In D Minor

This concerto is the only violin concerto composed by the Finnish composer Sibelius,which has become a masterpiece in the violin classic repertoire.With great aesthetic connotation and value,the work is highly worthy of performance,learning,appreciation and research.This thesis made a comprehensive in-depth study of the artistic style,performance skills and musical image of the work,hoping that it will enable the performer to grasp the musical changes in the concerto more accurately,and provide theoretical basis and reference for reasonable artistic treatment of each part of the piece.Through the understanding of Sibelius’ s artistic features and basic style,I deeply realized that the musical image is an important embodiment of the expression of musical connotation.By analyzing the creation background of the work and using my imagination,I gave the music a specific image and made the performance more dynamic.Understanding the structure of the song and the development of melodic lines in the work enable the player to have a more accurate design of the performance and more keenly expression of the emotional connotation of the concerto.In this way,I hope that by studying this work,I will provide other performers with playing experience and ideas,and provide a documentary basis for scholars who study Sibelius’ s works.
