| The viola is the first instrument of the viola family to be introduced and adopted in the modern violin,with a thick,gentle and plump timbre.The viola began to be used as a solo instrument in the second half of the 18th century,the Romantic period and the 20th century pushed its development in soloism to a climax.Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy(1809–1847),German-Jewish composer,pianist,orchestra conductor,was one of the most iconic figures of the German Romantic school.This paper takes the third movement of Mendelssohn’s Viola and Piano Sonata in C minor as the research object,and through repeated practice of this work,combined with the search and reading of relevant literature and materials,etc.,from the background of the times,the biography of the characters,the analysis of the composition of the work,the analysis of the playing technique,and the coordination with the piano parts,etc...I hope that this paper can provide reference for other viola players. |
