A Practical Study On The Development Of School Based Music Curriculum Of Huaihai Opera

In Jiangsu Province,Huaihai Opera,otherwise known as Huaihai Opera,is a classic theatrical form found in Huai’an,Lianyungang,Suqian,and other areas.Astonishingly,it is not only classified as a national intangible cultural legacy,but also possesses an immense cultural legacy and a distinct artistic charm that astounds.Huaihai Opera was once an exciting art form,and its performance was loved by the audience,but with the progress of the times,its status is gradually weakening.The changes in people’s lifestyles and entertainment methods make the performance of Huaihai Opera no longer meet the needs of today’s society,and may even be eliminated.Nowadays,the performance of Huaihai Opera Troupe has received more and more attention,and even local residents have begun to become familiar with it.In order to let more people understand this drama,the teachers and the elderly of Huaihai Opera Troupe are working hard to promote it.The music education in Huaihai area has been influenced by western culture,but the Chinese people have been trying to promote a unified music curriculum,which makes the music culture in this area more prominent in school education.However,due to the lack of sufficient attention,the inheritance and develoment of music culture in Huaihai area is facing severe challenges.Schools are committed to promoting national music culture and helping people better understand and spread these cultures through colorful courses.The purpose of this paper is to explore how to spread and protect Huaihai Opera more effectively under different cultural backgrounds through school-based curriculum.We have acquired a plethora of firsthand knowledge through thorough research,comprising literature,questionnaires and expert interviews,and conducted an exhaustive examination of Huaihai Opera’s music curriculum.This paper will deeply study the theoretical framework of the music curriculum of Huaihai Opera and the challenges it faces in the current music teaching practice.Our vision is to use the campus music curriculum of Huaihai Opera to broaden the educational horizon of the school,stimulate students’ interest,awaken their artistic spirit,and enhance their cultural cognition,so as to build a good platform for the inheritance and development of Huaihai Opera.
