Since its introduction,the concept of "teacher burnout" has received widespread attention from scholars,and the international Chinese language education community has gradually included it in the scope of research.In the context of online teaching,how to alleviate international Chinese teachers’ burnout and improve their online teaching effect are issues that international Chinese teaching practitioners need to study and solve.To this end,this paper investigates and researches the burnout of international Chinese teachers in Heilongjiang universities in the context of online teaching.The paper firstly compares the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on teacher burnout and online teaching of international Chinese,and clarifies the core concept and theoretical basis of teacher burnout and the current situation of online teaching of international Chinese.Then,using a combination of questionnaires and interviews,we investigate the current situation of burnout among international Chinese teachers in Heilongjiang universities in the context of online teaching,and analyze the overall level of international Chinese teachers’ burnout,the sublevels of emotional exhaustion,low personal achievement and depersonalization,and the differences between the findings.The results of the analysis showed that the overall burnout of international Chinese teachers in Heilongjiang universities in the context of online teaching was not serious and was mild,and gender,educational background and whether or not they were classroom teachers had significant effects on the burnout of international Chinese teachers in Heilongjiang universities in the context of online teaching.Finally,based on the survey and analysis,this study explores the factors influencing the burnout of international Chinese teachers in Heilongjiang colleges and universities in the context of online teaching,and proposes countermeasures to alleviate the burnout of international Chinese teachers from three aspects: teachers,students and schools,hoping to provide some reference for alleviating the burnout of international Chinese teachers in Heilongjiang colleges and universities in the context of online teaching and improving the effect of online teaching. |
