| Wang Feng,a famous musician,singer and songwriter from Chinese mainland,founder of the band "43 Baojia Street",is one of the typical representatives of Chinese rock musicians after Cui Jian.To this day,he is still active in the Chinese music scene and continues to create music with great vigor.His music has accompanied the commercialization of the pop music market,the development of the new media industry and the diversification of domestic pop music,and has largely influenced the development of contemporary Chinese pop music.His musical style is unique and highly personal,and his songs are rooted in real life and more concerned with the connection between people and society,his "voice" can clearly be seen as a microcosm of some Chinese literary and art workers.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the characteristics of Wang Feng’s singing and the stylistic features of his music works,and analyzes his different periods and compositions,in order to give learners of pop singing and pop music as much inspiration as possible in multiple dimensions.This paper is divided into three main chapters.The first chapter is a brief description of Wang Feng’s musical development experience,roughly divided into three stages: the band period: "43 Baojia Street" period;the period of his personal rise: "2000 to 2009";and the period of precipitation and change: "2010 to present".The second chapter is an overview of Wang Feng’s singing characteristics and musical styles in different periods,and selects representative works of Wang Feng from each period for in-depth analysis in terms of song style,harmony,orchestration,lyrics,and singing.The third chapter is a study of Wang Feng’s vocal characteristics and musical style,with the aim of extracting some insights that can be useful for pop singing and pop music composition. |
