Since 1980s, our famous composer Wang Zhi Xin has created and published a series of national vocal music works, which receives extensive concern from the vocal music circle. Because of their strong national style, local characteristic and strong senses of the time embodied, these works both become popular in concerts, vocal music matches and at the same time are widely used as the vocal music teaching materials of many institutions of higher learning. This has not only prospered the creation of our national songs, but also greatly promoted the development of our national vocal music art. Although Wang Zhi Xin's national vocal music works have been published by a large amount of publications and sung by many people, few people has analyzed and summarized his works so far, which provides much research space for this essay. Taking Wang's varied creation styles and some of the most represented works in varied topics as the core of our study, I try to combine the creation peculiarities and the expression technique, to give a further analysis and exploration about his works. This essay consists of three parts: preface, text and epilogue. Preface explains the meaning of this essay and analyses the current situation of research in this aspect. Text also has three parts: firstly, how to show the national style of the works when singing; Secondly, how to use expression techniques when singing; Finally, how to refer to the China traditional singing theory when singing. Epilogue is about the summary of wang zhi xin's composition and singing.
