| Liszt is one of the most influential and representative composers of the Romantic period. His music has both picturesque elements of romantic poetic,as well as modern and unrestrained tension, and even has inspiration for later impressionist music. The term "non structural factor" is taken from the Concept of Western Music--A Study of Binary Conflict in the Development of Western Music History written by Professor Yao Yaping. In this paper, the non structural factor studied refers to the non functional expansion of harmony, the extension of dissonance chord and harmony in romantic music. This paper mainly revolves around three sets of piano suites with rich value,Années de Pèlerinage, combined with Professor Yao Yaping’s structural concept and form.Starting from the three aspects of thematic tonality, chord structure, and harmony progression, from the perspective of development, this paper conducts a deep analysis of Liszt’s works using the historical background and humanistic ideas of the time, combined with traditional harmony techniques,to observe the evolution process of non structural factors and the disintegration trend of tonal music. |
