| The zither Concerto "Wei yang" was composed by young composer Li Yuej in with the support of the 2019 Beijing Talent Co-construction Project Fund Program and commissioned by the performer Zhou Wang to commemorate Mr.Zhou Yanjia,the founder of the modern Shaanxi Zither School.Different from other concertos for national musical instruments arranged by large national orchestras,this work adopts a small work arrangement,which is more simple and delicate,with the zither as the main instrument and the piano as the concerto instrument,highlighting the delicate contrast between the timbre of the piano and the zither.The work involves the use of Shaanxi zither style characteristics and performance techniques,which symbolizes beauty and is the continuation and development of Shaanxi zither music.Therefore,the writing of this article is mainly composed of an introduction,an epilogue and four chapters,the first chapter is to discuss the background of the creation of the zither concerto "Wei yang",and the second chapter is to analyze the zither concerto "Wei yang",which extends to the third chapter to analyze the performance technique of the zither concerto "Wei yang",and explore the expression of Shaanxi’s humanistic spirit in the work. |
